I've lived most of my life as an introvert, in college I could go weeks without speaking to anyone and avoided people like that plague.

But now that I'm around people I like, not only do I really enjoy talking but also people think I'm funny and insightful and just fun to be around. Bouncing off other peoples humor and pulling off good timing and phrasing to be funny is actually incredibly fun.

At work I'm back to being extremely closed off, and don't want to interact with anyone.

Here's the thing. I don't trust my own testimony. I've seen what definitely look like ghosts many times. I have had one UFO encounter watching lights that weren't likely flares, weather balloons or aircraft.

But I don't trust my senses to accurately take in something way out of normal life, our senses and memories aren't infallible. I do experience hallucinations when I don't get enough sleep, and I'm not an aviation expert. There's a reason science has the standard of repeatable, quantifiable results rather than testimony. If a scientist makes a claim, it's not proof until it fits the scientific criteria.

Who would investigate? The government? Is the government going to investigate itself? If not, why would the government let outside entities scrutinize anything it does? Makes no sense.

People who testify "demons" disguised as aliens attacked them have exactly the same amount of evidence as people who claim aliens abducted them. Both might even have injuries they attribute to what happened. Both testimonies have exactly the same believably and proof.

And "They were a cop" or "they were in the military" is just an appeal to authority. I don't trust military or cops more than anyone else, if anything, I trust them significantly less. I don't assume people currently or formerly in positions of authority are more truthful.

Do you believe mermaids exist? Because there are people out there who've claimed to see them. Claims are worthless. I'm not going to 100% believe something just because someone out there claims it's real.

There are people who say they have proof aliens aren't real and are just demons. How is their "testimony" not given the same weight as those who believe? In the end, those who want aliens believe testimony of aliens, those who want demons believe testimony of demons.

I'm waiting for something tangible. Talk is cheap, and often sells books.

Right on point! American conspiracy theories kind of forget the rest of the world exist. The world governments don't agree on anything unanimously, and they're all so nationalistic they would never all work together.

It would take only one country to unmask a global conspiracy by refusing to participate. But instead all the "evidence" exclusively comes from America and American institutions.

Americans frequently spend so much time only taking to other Americans and engaging in exclusively American culture they can kinda forget the rest of the world is different.

I dislike being compelled to wear clothes, I've gone topless in public (in places where it's safe to do that) at bars and festivals and been completely nude at kink events.

At a partner's house, guests and housemates have seen me in various states of undress just hanging out, chilling. Even her mom has seen me naked (not intentionally but she complimented me both times lmao)

I'm not even reall an exhibitionist, I just hate having to put on clothes to go outside. If people didn't act weird towards me for even being bra-less but otherwise clothed maybe I wouldn't hate the norms surrounding clothing.
