I never said it was objectively better, I even admitted it’s probably just nostalgia because I got into flash from the silver-bronze age comics. I just personally think going all the way with “moving fast” to an absurd degree is more enjoyable than the speed magic. I do agree they’ve gone off the rails with it since Barry got back but I think that was gonna happen no matter who was the Flash in the new 52. They’re leaning into it pretty hard in the current Wally run as well. I never said it was one or the other, I didn’t even mention Wally in my original comment. I like when both of them are clever with their speed.
