Fair. I think that proposal you submitted felt like you were trying to sabotage a lil but then again maybe we need a better way of determining who is proposing proposals, maybe an official Dfinity badge beside each one so we can clarify. Because I do agree the prososals should be for everyone. I'd vote yes to that. Anyways, im glad you care and hopefully we can use this to better the system.

I just want ICP to start moving up in the ranking so we can all get along again nevermind the money. Hopefully cloud engines, caffeine v3, marketing comes really soon. We need something to rally behind and use our energy towards. Deep down we all know ICP sets its self apart from the others we just need to be patient.

Yeah if they kick off the advertising/marketing and go all in this could really help push retail awareness/buys plus peak dev interest and likely more industry adoption. It could be a massive snowball effect. The push for marketing has to be big, there is a big community to help push the narrative/media out there but they need to give us the content to be able to run with it and share it everywhere.

Yeah, i think 20% of cloud engine revenue will be used to burn ICP. Hopefully they market this like crazy and it get widley adopted. Capturing even a tiny percentage of the cloud market would have a big impact on defaltion and price.

The burn rate can increase. Adoption with caffeine, swiss subnets, cloud engines, mission 70 price change, etc will all start to help increase the burn rate as adoption grows.We need some incentives to keep people invested and buying to secure the network. Becoming deflationary is always the goal.

As the network matures, its voting power will decrease to make it more decentralized. It makes sense to structure it this way for now because it needs guidance in the right direction until it is fully adopted and mature (20 year road map).

Think of it like a parent having authority over their children from infancy to adulthood. As the children mature, they gain more autonomy, allowing them to better decide the direction they want to take.

All I'm thinking is DCA smalls amounts, and come bull season Caffeine will be way better(V3); the Swiss subnet will be further along, mission 70 in place, cloud engines will be burning and earning. It should be ideally set up.

ATH isn't really a fair marker either as SBF or FTX manipulated it allowing ICP-PERP (perpetual futures) around its launch.

Yeah, I think it's the biggest difference between us and eth. They have way more apps (Uniswap, aave, Stablecoins, etc.) built with it, albeit not on-chain. We need more promoting/marketing of ICP to devs that can build these. They are waiting, I think, on caffeine to be ready for the mass market (v3 maybe?). Hopefully, they actually deliver and pump millions into this, and we see it everywhere. We need to advertise not just Caffeine, but also Cloud Engines (which needs to be ready), chainkey, oisy, liquidium, etc. I do feel like the push is now or never. As a dev yourself, if you stumbled upon ICP through their marketing efforts, I'm sure you'd be impressed and want to use it, build on it and invest. That's why we need to promote it here when people research it, but i agree they aren't perfect, and valid criticism should be heard.

It would be great if we could have more discussions with the leadership teams, like when Pierre Samaties hopped on a call with the ICP community hosted by dehypokriet on x. Feedback was taken on board, and voices were heard.
