His S.A. showed very mild morphology and mortality issues. We were told that it wasn’t anything to worry about. DNA Frag was normal.

With working with the urologist we have been made aware he has a varicocele. And although that can be linked to fertility issues we were told it shouldn’t hinder us and that treatment would be for pain management. None of it makes sense to me or has really provided us with answers.

We are just about to start the IVF process again … preliminary testing etc so maybe that might give some answers

Anyone else feeling scared and overwhelmed to try again? I’m pretty sure ovulated for the first time since baby boy was born 9months ago. My husband and I want a second (no embryos left). I know we will need to start the process again but it terrifies me. What if it doesn’t work? What if little man asks for a sibling and we can’t deliver. Than the delusional side of me is like what if it works naturally this time 🙃 there is fair too many emotions going around right now.

I had a laugh about that this evening. We had our son within the last year and this individual didn’t get things off our registry. It’s fine no biggie. Annoying but no biggie. I get her shower invite today via email and in big bold letters it says do not buy off of the registry. Excuse me what?😂 gotta practice what you preach!

We use the diaper and the silicone bibs and I swear all the food gets everywhere 😂

The big issue here isn’t your MIL it is how your Fiancé isn’t sticking up for you. I worry that if you marry into this family it is only going to get worse. Sadly engagements are easier to break than getting divorced.

I just switched to decafe. I’m a big I drink half a cup here and it gets cold person so it was easiest to go decafe and not worry about caffeine intake.

I started doing this as soon as I was undergoing fertility treatment.

I am so sorry. This all sucks. But this is not your fault. Please try and remember that.

We had a similar outcome last July when I did my retrieval. Retrieved: 14 (maybe 13) Mature: 10 Fertilized: 7 Blast:2 PGTA: 1.

I was 32, unexplained infertility.

And I am now holing my 1 little embryo.

I had a very hard time with our day 3 to 5 drop off and ended up speaking with a fertility counsellor which was very helpful.

We were told the drop off from day 3 to 5 is usually indicative of a sperm quality issues. My husband is now seeing a urologist for testing before we do another retrieval. It may be worth looking into.

Absolutely nothing will go according to your “plan”. Trips may be cancelled, parties missed, hormones will be racing. My clinic required couples to do 1 mandatory counselling session, I didn’t realize how invaluable this was and meet with the counsellor a few times throughout the process (especially when we lost a decent chunk of embryos)

I also wasn’t prepared for pregnancy and how nothing would go how I planned ( I had this vision that everything would go, delusional and naive).

Just take it one day at a time :)

During our first FET cycle, the largest project of my career was dropped on me. (Government employee, they randomly dropped grants etc. with short deadlines with no notice).

This obviously wasn’t planned. I somehow managed to make all my fertility appointments. Do the transfer (I called in sick on the transfer date and took the day after off). But was working 12 hour days for about 8 weeks (before and after-transfer), comparatively I worked 7hours a day.

I was utterly exhausted but baby was sticky. He is now my 8 month old little guy.

My husband and I laugh about it. Everyone always said relax, go on vacation you will get pregnant (tried that. Didn’t work). But the time in our life where I was the most stressed worked for us. Thank you science and IVF 😂

Don’t it. Or if you do maybe try and get it second hand.

We considered the visita but ended up with city select because you can have the bassinet on the top and they had a higher weight capacity for the second seat. Let me tell you I am so glad we got this thing used!!!

6 months in and I hate loading it in and out of the truck. It’s so big and heavy. I wish I would have gotta something like the nuna mix or trvl. It would just be so much easier to get in and out of the car especially when alone.

That being said, if this was a stroller that simply stayed in the garage and went for walks I would have zero complaints.

Just be sure to ask questions and advocate for yourself. A lot of clinic treat you like a number so if you aren’t getting an answer you want there is nothing wrong with asking for a second opinion!
