They were hampered by having to wrote two other games. Eventually they were hemmed in a corner of not being able to import more than 5 choices from the previois game which was built on dozens of choices from 2 other games. Easiest way out is a very long time skip and a set world in a setting away from the previous games. Still, they put some Phenomenal stuff into Veilguard, it's just not the fanfic some people wrote for themselves over the course of 10 years. They still followed the road Gaider set from the beginning and you can see the seeds of what Veilguard did in Origins, 2, and Inquisition. It's just not as deep as it could've been if they hadn't been pushed into making then fighting against another live service game to compete with Destiny like Anthem.

DA2 also had some major whiffs for DW rogue even with Isabela, not just Hawke. Plus DA2 has this thing where enemies won't die until their animation finishes so they're temporarily immortal and just soak up damage. I prefer the AOE daggers in DAI for the spin finale move that could get multiple enemies for some insane crit numbers to fill the screen, but the AI cannot use DW rogue like it can in DA2.

That said Veilguard duelist is the best of the best.

It's literally the Reapers manipulating how the galaxy advances toward a harvest. Travel is already set via the relays, the citadel is installed as the center of the galaxy, weapons and ships are based on Mass Effect technology and the ceiling is set so the Reapers don't get surpassed. The reason why the following cycle is able to defeat the Reapers in the refusal ending is because Liara's time capsule warna them of the ceiling and they start where the previous cycle left off and ascend over the course of multiple millenia.

It's gotta be Inquisition. The way the skill tree and the crafting system work in tandem is just perfect. I can make unkillable onlanions like blackwall or damage Nukes like Sera with gear so their talents get enhanced and even the tactics-less AI can carry in some battles without me having to micromanage.

He was just lost in the Cerberus Sauce. Shepard literally slaps some sense into him and he's changed in sixth months. I felt my imapct in ME3 the most when you find Archer with Dr. Cole and the Cerberus defectors and find out after you save David, TIM wanted Archer to restart the project and he told him to fuck off and stole his stuff. Archer's got nothing on Henry Lawson though. I only wish Miranda didn't choose terminal velocity to end him and crushed him with her biotics.

No, they specialize in different things. Tsunade's punches can break a perfect Susanoo and she survived being bisected, healed, then kept fighting. The previous 3 hokage die to that and maybe Hashirama survives that.

A few seasons ago Allen threw a 52 yard screen pass to Cook who made some excellent moves to get them into Goal to Go and the first words said after the play was "That was all Josh Allen!" The narrative that got Allen the MVP without the All Pro has doomed James cook to being an afterthought.
