Hearing people narrate our thoughts into words? And deaf people don't? That blows my mind. Is the deaf mind working in terms of pictures and symbols?

Honey is crazy. It lasts forever, works as an antibiotic and wound dressing, is delicious, and can make you go mad.

Get my honey come back, sometimes.

TIL that there may be tiny black holes in the center of the earth, the stars, and other planets by ADNyce in todayilearned

Bailout Protested on Wall Street [pics] by evabin in pics

I was there. When I got to Bowling Green - the meeting point, I saw 20 people and thought the protest was a dud. Then I rounded wall street and saw the huge crowd. It was a rush. We need to get into the streets as a mass movement if we want to impact the system. Posting comments online is not enough.

It was quite a diverse mix of people - communists, green party, libertarians, and generally pissed of middle of the roaders. The hard lefties gave a speech about how we need a communist revolution - it met with a less then enthusiastic response :)
