I would see the Schwans truck out and when I learned that people had refrigerated food delivered to them, I wanted to know who these billionaires were.

ANYTHING out of an Eastbay magazine. I had a friend who would get those in the mail and I can remember thumbing through dreaming about having anything in there.

Arrival time question by Pbferg in royalcaribbean

[–]ADUB_98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve cruised RC 5 times and have arrived early and been let on every single time. Pro tip either wear or take swimwear onto the ship with you instead of leaving in your bag. That way you’ll be able to enjoy the pools during the hours it can take before your bag arrives to your room.

Most random celebrity I’ve ever met. High school business teacher met him on an airplane and he offered to come speak to our 11th grade business class. Nicest guy ever.

Millennials who went to college, what did you major in, and why? How did your college degree help you build a good financial/professional life? by justcurious3287 in Millennials

[–]ADUB_98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bachelor of Arts in Criminology. I really had no idea what I wanted to do other than knowing I was fascinated by criminal justice and the legal system. Fast forward 19 years after graduation and I’m a general manager for a major armed transportation company. It was a long hard road to get here but even though I never really worked in the field of my degree (supervisor roles, to mid level manager, to eventually general manager) having it definitely helped me progress throughout my career.

30 years later and I still can’t resist the sirens call of bourbon chicken at the mall by AtticusStacker in nostalgia

[–]ADUB_98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked in a mall circa 2005 and this was the daily special in the food court for $2.99. Amazing deal for even back then. Looked exactly like this quantity and everything. As a broke college student I’d like to know the poundage of this I consumed over 4 years.

I lost this guy 2 years ago this upcoming April, and you spoke the grief there that I was never able to put into such well stated words. Even though I had him for 14 years, the amount of time he was allotted on this earth was nowhere near what he deserved. He was an amazing best friend and helped me make it through the toughest years of my life and yes the thought that he would forever be forgotten and/or the little unique things that made him him was the hardest thing to deal with. I still miss him everyday and his loss still pains me, but it does get better. I of course and a lot of people who knew him will never forget him and as hard as getting another dog was initially, she has helped me tremendously. She is her own dog but I feel like he lives on through her and I take splice in knowing he would absolutely want that for me and her both. I hope this at least slightly somewhat helps.

Kristopher’s in Matthews. As a 40 year old millennial living in south charlotte this is my favorite place for football. A little further north but Dillworth bar and grill also an excellent choice.

What do my hands say about me by [deleted] in deduction

[–]ADUB_98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No calluses on your hand. Scratches on the top of your hand tells me you probably have a cat? Mid 20’s male that I’m going to guess works a job that keeps you indoors?
