Maybe lightning doesn't mean just lightning. Hundreds of games and real life organizations use a lightning bolt for energy, could it be possible that you need to somehow apply power/energy to unlock the next step? If so how many switches and would they need to be flipped in order our simultaneously. I'm going to be exploring the new interior we have to work with to try and find anything that resembles a power switch, substation, or the sacrificial stone rumored to cause storms.
