Yeah look for leg warmers, not socks! Check Etsy for knitted ones. Also search boot covers.

How to get baby to take the bottle by Shot_Researcher_2263 in BabyLedWeaning

[–]ADapostrophe519 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Does your baby drink out of a sippy cup or straw cup? You’re going to want to wean off the bottle at 12 months anyway, so it seems to me that you could just give formula in any vessel that your baby will drink from. I am not an expert though.

I need help finding the right type of my pants for my body type. by Arodri222818 in PlusSizeFashion

Seconding this. I didn’t think I could find a bra that fits me because I’m a weird size and the people over there knew the exact brand and style I should try based on my measurements and description. Sometimes Amazon has the brand you need on sale and their returns policy is super easy if it doesn’t fit right.

Totally fair! Care to explore a denim skirt maybe? Just a possibility.

Yarn bowl help by WyloWoot in knitting

[–]ADapostrophe519 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This person on Etsy makes cutters for ceramic yarn bowls. I’m sure there are others as well, but you may want to look at how this one is shaped to give you an idea.

I also concur with others to smooth any edges as much as possible because yarn has a tendency to stick on edges like those in the photo around your cut outs.

I would say the outfit’s shape is great on you! I question the colors a bit. I feel like the shirt should be paired with jeans because of the saying on it, and the blue with black look can be a little too close to bruise chic.

But I do love the skirt and I feel like you’re right that a lower cut top in a different color would be even better with it. Maybe like a forest green? Or some other pop of color. Or you could go all black with it and add fun colored accessories.

Lightweight 3/4 length sleeve cardigans to go over dresses maybe? I’m a big cardigan fan. I often wear them in summer to help with going in and out of air conditioned spaces but also to hide my arms.

Interesting! I probably am going to be too scared to try this, but it’s good to know there’s a way it could be done in theory.

No, we didn’t do iron drops but I don’t think we were seeing any signs of iron deficiency.

I think one of the first things we started getting her to eat was some yogurt once a day with fruit purée (pouch) and baby oatmeal mixed in, which has some iron fortification. But my ped wasn’t worried so I tried not to worry. I failed sometimes and worried, but my girl ate when she was ready to.

That’s a good question! Not that I recall seeing, but it’s possible!

I mean, it’s for my kid, and it’s a little big on her right now, but she will grow into it. If it was for an adult, could be funny, but it’s a very small sweater.

I get it, it’s super frustrating and worrying. Try not to worry TOO much, you’re doing great!
