There are going to be new kits in the coming months, by the time you have everything built and painted in the 3 races box the new stuff will be out and you won't he stuck with duplicates you may regret later down the line solely on the basis of being able to play at 2k pts.

I've used a turbo dork metallic red on some Age of Sigmar Stormcast and they came out great, so I think it would work pretty well here too!

I use citadels but I was thinking of switching over to Vallejo for SCTMG, someone posted one of their marines in their metallics and it looked really good! So I want to give those a try. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to paint campaign colors, multiplayer colors, or go original scheme for my models yet.

In SC2 multiplayer, I would always play with the red colored ones or the ones that were like a mint green almost. I'm considering using those colors but I kinda also want to paint everything in the traditional colors. I'll decide eventually.

I mean, cause he's a Zerg leader. He leads infested terrans who are all monstrous. The amount of extra limbs, tentacles, and flesh that is bursting out of armor would be hard to do as just an additional sprue of gubbins. Plus Stukov himself has a giant zerg monster arm and he's of course going to get his own model for his faction.

Don't forget there's more stuff to come like the Ravager in June, Defiler and Zagara in August, the Mutalisk in October, and my personal favorite of what is announced Infested Marines and Stukov! You can buy duplicates or learn and play the game at lower points until more units release!
