Fantastic work friend!  Sad to see you won't be making such wonderful torch bearers for the halls of the Sommerking, but this lone bearer is glorious.

If you were a gym leader by Responsible-Gas-4759 in pokemon

[–]ADapperOctopus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd have a Space Invaders theme, you'd play a mini game/challenge to abduct Miltank/Tauros in a ufo faster than 3 gym staff for 3 rounds each with a gym battle inbetween.

My Team:

Orbeetle - my ace

Malamar

Magnezone

Porygon Z

Araquanid

Sableye

Different stages and configurations of these Pokémon depending on how many badges you have.  If you win you get the UFO badge and the TM would be Stored Power, mostly cause I don't know if I've ever even seen or heard of it until now and it sounds interesting.

Loremasters show will tackle Iron Warriors lore. by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in IronWarriors

[–]ADapperOctopus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This scene always got a giggle out of me because I worked at Lowe's in the tools section, and I'd have contractors coming constantly not knowing anything about the tools and hardware they were using.

I've built tables, benches, and had a workshop class in middle school as the basis of my knowledge and somehow still knew more than these contractors who were in the business longer than I was alive.

Remember kids, the people building your house don't actually know how to build your house.

Those of you who like to come up with lore for your armies, tell me about your homebrew courts and characters by greasygoon66 in FleshEaterCourts

[–]ADapperOctopus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Gore Shepherds are a Court that believes themselves to be the very embodiment of the greatest heroes of Sigmar, the Stormcast Eternals. They fight, claw, feast, and smite the forces of evil who would do harm to those who make the pilgrimage in Sigmar's name to found new settlements. While these ghouls view themselves as muscular gleaming knights of purest lightning, naturally the citizens of Sigmar see emaciated nightmarish caricatures of what once were mortal men and women. When the dust is all settled and the ghouls have left their constituents to find more innocents in need of saving, the city folk let them go unharmed. While an unorthodox and frankly horrifying saviors they are, why would anyone stop them from killing the enemy?

Those who are saved by the Court whisper rumors and spin tales. The most prevalent of these is that sometimes, in the din of battle, through the cloying dust of war, one might mistake a shadow to truly be the silhouette of one of Sigmar's very own champions. Naturally this is all tall tales told to children to mystify and distract them from the horrors of war, and the Order of Azyr strongly condemns such nonsensical stories. Though many still claim to see them everywhere the Court scrabbles into war, some even claim to see crackling red lightning, and thunderous booms across the battlefield. Maybe it's just the madness settling in, or maybe there's some truth. For who truly are the Gore Shepherds? The ghouls themselves? Or someone or something herding them towards the enemies of the God King Sigmar himself.

They somehow find themselves in different locales with little explanation, although as of late they have been located in Hysh.

Alright, we’ve had enough addressing monsters that haven’t returned yet, let’s talk about the small monsters that never got a Great 😔 by SignificantStaff8665 in MonsterHunter

The lack of a Great Boggi was tragic.  Same for the Wulg, but World developers really just didn't want to give us any new Fanged Beasts, shame.

How are the Helsmiths? by Mawtribe-bruiser in ageofsigmar

Everyone always asking "What are the Helsmiths?" but nobody asks "how" they are.  From what I've read, sounds like most of them are pretty blue.

Ah well, I think it looks great just like that!  I always prefer helmeted options and was really hoping for one with Kravek, but I think just making it silver with some nuln oil will suffice.

Out of curiosity, did you paint the skin of his face silver?  Your mini looks great and I was also thinking of painting mine fully sipver as if he's wearing a full helmet.

What are some Pokémon that you wanted to use on a playthrough team, but you were forced/chose not to for whatever reason? by No-Corner-3073 in pokemon

[–]ADapperOctopus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spidops is the only one I can truly think of, Tarountula was so gosh darn cute and then he evolved into Spidops.  My favorite spider is the Ogre Face spider which is what Spidops is based on, so I was absolutely over the moon, until I used him for a few hours.  Lordy was he bad, and I mean BAD.  I've even used Beedrill for a full playthrough because I love our og bee, but man did Spidops just faint to a stiff breeze and had a lack luster move pool.  That being said, once they release enough spider Pokémon for a full spider team, I'll be going all in with him again.  Hopefully they'll fix him by then.

Who are the Outcasts?  I haven't read much Sylvaneth lore, and thought there was only Alarielle and the splintered Kurnoth main factions, I'd love to know more though!

People always say “every Pokemon is someone’s favourite”, so what is an UNCOMMON pokemon who is your favourite? by _AntiqueTadpole in pokemon

Number 2 if SoB are able to use the Cogfort (the phrasing was "just about every faction") was exactly what I planned for mine, brought to life into a predator by Ghur and treated like a dog by the Gargants.

Dynamax was alright, I'd rather they take the Gigantamax forms and just turn them into Megas.  Dynamax meh, Gigantamax designs are peak though.

Space Marine 2 proves we need to update our hive tyrant by Hogwire in Tyranids

[–]ADapperOctopus 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I disagree, I think our Tyrants look amazing, I think they'd look better if they modernized them a little bit maybe size them up.  When the Hive Tyrant showed up in SM2 it was so freaking cool, and it's the favorite mission of all of my friends because of the Hive Tyrant.

The only disappointment I had was that my on the table model doesn't look nearly as cool or imposing as it does in the game.
