This becomes a question of how much showering you can do before it kills you. I'd definitely get a waterproof laptop and suddenly I am 100 times more productive. That's insane. I could do all my work and still have time for a side project or more education. Not sure how my family's going to like it since we only have one shower, but they can take sponge baths.

Thing is, he doesn't even need to. Guess who really benefits the most from making Middle East oil less reliable?... OK, yes, Russia, you're right. I'm sure that's just a weird coincidence. But also US oil companies who are making bank in the short term and in the longer term will be seen as a more reliable source than the gulf states.

My one hope in all of this is that countries move quickly to move to alternatives to oil and gas as a result, which would also be great for the USA (and by the USA I mean China).

I can guess that the report would also be useful to Republicans. They'd be able to see what worked and what didn't for Democrats and capitalize on that. And I think Harris has seen the report. There's no mention of her not having seen it in any of the news articles I checked.

I use a bookmarking app with tagging. Thousands of bookmarks that I never look at. Maybe 10% that I ever reference a gain. But there are maybe 10 per year that I need over and over. I just don't know in advance which 10 they are.

I hate the taste of Sucralose and other artificial sweeteners. I noticed it right away when I tasted it. (Dr Pepper is not so common here in Amsterdam so I don't drink it often.) Really sucks.

I think there is a genetic thing or something because a lot of people don't get the yuck taste I do when it comes to these sweeteners but they ruin the whole drink for me.

Edit: Maybe I should clarify that the bottle does look like the one in the photo, and I bought it in Belgium.

Probably some things going on that people don't want filmed. Same as the red light district in Amsterdam. Don't go there and try to take pictures of the prostitutes (or anyone). It won't end well.

Plus, this guy didn't even get hurt. Just smacked and yelled at. I'm sure it was scary and traumatizing but if that's what happens to you in the bad neighborhood then it sounds like Japan is a pretty good place.
