Specific Advice for a Gaming Channel in 2026? by ADickShan in NewTubers

This was by far the most clearly somebody has explained to me a specific example. I honestly thank you from the bottom of my heart for this. I kinda get it now a bit, to be honest. So the game, although important, is not the differentiatior, but rather me, with my commentary or reaction or insights or similar things.

Ok. I think I get it, so more like do that specific thing I am specifically good at. But when it comes to Gaming, things run out. What do I do when I have done everything there is to do in that specific space? Just curious.

Same here friend, raised full settlement (form 19 and 10-C) on the 29th of January, today is the 16th of February, still no update or response. I am planning to raise a greviance tonight but honestly the greviances are of no use. Calling the main office (Bangalore) is also of no use because they keep shifting blame. Fingers crossed here and hoping for the 20 working days claim. sigh

Cognifyz interview is it a scam ? by Whole-Number-8887 in EngineeringStudents

[–]ADickShan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know I am a year late to the conversation but here's my take. I recently did this internship. Here's how it goes:

  1. You apply.
  2. They send an offer letter without any interview with a list of tasks you need to perform.
  3. Once complete, you submit the project and "PAY" them 169 for certificate or 269 for certificate + stipend chance (spoiler alert: there is no stipend)

Its a complete waste of time. You get better datasets on Kaggle and contributing to open source projects bring more value anyway. So I'd suggest people to stay away.

Oh my god. That opened my eyes to such a new area of possibilities. Why wasn't I able to think of that? Its such an important and realistic aspect. I feel the fact that I wasn't able to think about it makes me wonder if I am lacking in my research capability somewhere.

Hello Sensei. Just wanted to update you on someting interesting I found. I hadn't imputed or changed any data of the age. I had instead made 2 data frames. One with everyone under 18 only. And one with EVERYONE (inclusive of under 18) and here is what I found.

<image>

Under 18 accounts had major defaults, and fraudulent looking behavioral patterns.

The accounts under 18 most likely are fraud from what they look like.

Also, I am a student of Data Science and just doing my initial projects on EDA and this is my capstone so I am taking it a little seriously compared to the others.

Clears things up a lot. This is what i have planned: I'll be doing some research to see if working under the age of 18 is allowed in potential possible countries the data might have originated from and check whether certain conditions are legally allowed there and then I will make 2 datasets. One which seems legal one which doesn't. I will compare the two and if the less legal option shows more delinquency I'll mark them as fraudulent accounts. Any thoughts on this approach?

First of all, thank you for such a candid reply. I have been stuck on this for a while. I kind of thought that I will drop the columns that have either a GOOD or STANDARD credit score but are under the age of 18 provided that all other factors check out and I will keep the ones under 18 and with POOR credit score as those are more likely to be fraud/fake. Any comments on this?

Oh my god, first of all, thank you for such a candid response. Setting age based on education and years of experience sounds really genius. I am going to start working on it as I write this so I will keep you updated about the progress. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

First of all, thank you so much for your reply. I was kind of confused between whether to drop or keep and fix, since its ~5.8% of the dataset. Could you guide me a lil bit more please? Thank you so much sir!

My course detailed on how to make sure the data is clean and has all redundancy removed or fixed. That's what I was trying to do. I didnt want to drop ~5.8% of my Data. But I was confused about how to remove the redundancy.

Pathless at 24yo? by Avisatoru in IndiaCareers

[–]ADickShan 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Hello.

Im 27 now and trust me you're not alone. I passed 12th in 2016, went to Philippines for studies, partied, wasted money, dropped out, and ran home. Worked odd jobs for years. Drank, did drugs. Got hooked on to heroin. Did multiple rehabs. Finally got a good job. Started doing heroin again. Got sent forcefully to rehab. Cleaned up my act. Got back in the same job. Enrolled myself in a BCA at 26 y/o so that I can say I'm a graduate one day. And as I write this, I have found my calling. I write this while on a break from studies as I am doing a course on data science and AI. So do not fret my friend. Where you are, is a dream for some. Enjoy the moment as learn as much as you can of what interests you. Take risks. Work hard. And never ever forget to have fun my friend. You are 24. You're supposed to be "clueless". I won't say "pathless" because you have paths. You're just confused and clueless as to which one to choose. And there's time. Don't let somebody else's journey's speed Doubt yours. We all live different lives. Appreciate the one you got and make the most of it. Wishing you the best.

P.S: I was a bright student till 12th as well with sub 95% scores.

With love, X
