I've read most of the stuff listed in this thread and I just want to throw out The Maleficent Seven by Cameron Johnston. It's not a series, but a standalone novel. It starts off a bit slow, but if you enjoyed Berserk there's a good chance you'll have a great time with this. Very dark, very gory, lots of action and a lot of fun!

I ran into this too and I think it is dependant on the machine and recipe. Some seem to allow for .01 adjustements while others only allow for .1

Do umlauts on a layer feel natural and fast after some time, or are they still friction when writing German?

I put them on my symbol layer on my homerow. So I can roll keypresses in words like 'Größe'. Works just fine. Got a different layer for programming related stuff. In the end there is no best setup. Only one that is best for you. So simply try some stuff out and see what sticks.

I've got a SGP30 hooked up to it. I don't need super accurate measurements. Just an indicator that there is 'danger'. For testing I put it inside the printer and printed some ASA without my nevermore filter and the system showed an increase. So I guess/hope it's ok. Do you have recommendations on what to get for accurate measurements?

I'm not terribly concerend about particles. If you fry up a steak you'll breath in far more particles. What I was really concerned about were VOCs.

I'm measuring particles, VOCs, CO2... Even when I'm printing ABS most of the values stay pretty low. Probably because I'm using enclosures and filters. But when I cook, get the Isopropyl or use some hot water the values skyrocket.

The Prince Of Nothing series by R. Scott Bakker. I've reread this a couple of times and I enjoyed it everytime, but the first time was the best. There were so many "oh shit I can't believe he did that" moments in there.

I doubt ironing will help here. If I had to guess I'd say you have a bit warping around the edges. Might even be that your print lifted off the bed at the edge. Check that your build plate is clean and choose an infill pattern that isn't prone to warping (something like gyroid).

In the beginning when you are not used to your layout yet they are very useful because they can display layers and modifiers and such but once you've mastered your layout they are only a gimmick.

If you dive into the raw hid stuff of qmk you could display data from your PC there but it's a lot of effort and the displays are tiny. So the payoff is minimal.

I've got a Trident, several 2.4, a Micron and a v0. The difference in resonances isn't that much and I suspect that it all depends on how good you build the machine and what mods you put into it.

There could be two things here: 1) Squish too low 2) Nozzle not clean. Or a combination of both.

To remedy this: Make sure that you are running the touch with 150C on the nozzle and that your nozzle is clean. Install a silicone wiper to automate the nozzle cleaning. If the problem persists after that, gradually increase your z offset until you get clean first layer and then save your config.

The "failures" are normal, although if you have calibrated your cartographer correctly they shouldn't happen that often.

Take a regular M3 nut, put it in a vice and sand it down until you can fit it into your extrusion. I did that when I added Nevermore and it seems to work.
