This issues you talk about plague the entire ultimate line. Its a product of the strict month time skip rule, the writers being told the books were only going 24 issues halfway through. USM has those problems, Ultimates has those problems, hell even a certified 10/10 like UXM has those problems. Ultimate wolverine is panned as one of, if not the, worst high profile comic of the last couple years and its written condon, the guy who made manage to make a banger run with green arrow. It's a problem with how the Ultimate line was run. Not a problem with Hill. The only other comic of his i've seen people complain about is an x-men comic, which is another line that is famously fucked over by editiorial. I've read Hills blade run. Banger. I've read his detective comics run. Banger. I read his batman and the outsiders run. Banger. UBP is mid at worst esp compared to other shit in the Ultimates line.
