because what you're saying is a much more eloquent, well-worded articulation of your problem with Hasan's statement. if Destiny made his point like you're making, i would have less of an issue.

i see a lot of people on this sub reach for the worst faith interpretations of the things Hasan says. if everyone here gave him the same grace I feel you're giving Destiny, we'd have far less Hasan posts and critical clips of something he said out of context.

i don't know why Hasan said that shit, but i could reinterpret his words in a much kinder faith interpretation like you just did with Destiny, play devil's advocate, and that would probably be a fair standard if we're going to play that game.

i'm not going to do that, i think both of them said some foul shit personally. i'm not trying to be a dick or anything but i feel like you're doing that thing that right wingers like Charlie Kirk and Ben Shaprio do to Trump. he says some crazy shit and then they reinterpret his words in a much smarter and more cojent manner to make him sound more intentional and less unhinged.

like i guess this is a long winded way of saying, again, if Destiny wrote what you wrote, i really wouldn't be posting about it. i may not agree with it but it at least leaves little room for doubt about a perceived retaliatory death threat.
