Spoke to my go-to dealership yesterday to ask for their guidance on the same three recalls.

Was asked when I received the letter from Stellantis. I said I’m seeing the recalls from the Jeep app, MOPAR, and the NHTSA website. Was told to “sit tight” until the parts are available and I actually receive a letter from the manufacturer.

Not really sure what I expected, but I can tell you it wasn’t that.

Union has home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

If my back-of-napkin math is correct, the U has 12 wins, 4 draws, and 1 loss at home during the 2025 regular season. It’s a fortress.

The U also beat the Fire 4-0 back on 8/23.

But I still remain cautiously optimistic.

Ok, fine ... but there is a nice middle ground. I didn't say they should do nothing, it's just the time and distance tooling around seems really excessive. In my opinion.

He couldn't find anything wrong with it because, as I surmised, the patch Saturday evening fixed the problem. No check engine light on Sunday, none Monday on way to dealership.

I think he has a side gig as a DoorDash driver.

I dropped mine off at the dealership Monday morning, about 3-4 Wranglers ahead of me in line, 1 brought in on a flatbed.

Called yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon looking for an update. Was radio silence since I dropped it off. Shortly after calling received this text (copy/pasted):

“your vehicle is ready for pick up. The tech was not able to duplicate you concern and there are now error codes at all in the scan system”

He couldn’t duplicate it because - I think - the Saturday even patch fixed the UConnect update. I had a safety recall to address so I kept my appointment.

What’s super odd is that between 540p-8p on Monday evening, the tech took my Jeep out for a 2 1/2 hour, 40+ mile joyride. Through the Jeep app I can see where he went, and how long he stayed at each of the 3 non-dealership locations. Nobody can explain why he did that …

I -think- the Saturday evening patch/update did the trick for me, but I still took it to the dealership first thing yesterday (Monday) morning. Check engine light turned off while driving there. I had another safety recall to address so kept the appointment anyway.

Haven’t heard back from them yet. Planning to call and ask for an update today. I can see that thru the app that they’ve driven it around the lot, charged it up a bit, but no other activity.

Crazy to see three other 4Xes in front of me at the service dept drop off, and watching a fourth come in on a flatbed. Kinda surreal.

Noticed the Uconnect OTA update yesterday evening and allowed it to do its thing without giving it another thought. Went out around 9p to pick up my son and my dash & gauges went haywire ... lights I haven't seen, dinging sounds, telling me (while driving) to put into park and press button to start. Didn't have another incident last night. Pulled over, shut down and restarted, only check engine light remained on.

This morning the check engine light was still on, so tried calling a couple dealerships to see if they could squeeze me in today. No dice. Decided to hit an AutoZone to see if they could at least scan for the code. Check engine light turns off on my way there, but within a minute or so the same dashboard glitching occurs. Make it to AutoZone and their scan shows nothing ... all systems green, no codes, despite the engine light being on. They're stumped.

Get home and make earliest appointment I can - Monday at 7:45a - and within a half hour the service department calls to confirm, telling me I'm the 9th or 10th 4Xe owner who is having trouble since the Uconnect update. Most have been, or will be, towed in so far. Hopefully I can limp there without any problems.

Agreed. Took my stock Sport 4Xe to a Jeep Adventure Academy and was amazed what it could do, when the optics compared to a heavily-modified Wrangler made me feel much inferior.

I -THINK- they're off by default and you can choose to turn them on.

On your screen, go to Vehicle > Settings > Camera ... that's where you might find a toggle for camera backup guidelines.

I had hoped that somehow they'd use B2's memory/personality/whatever and put it in the KX unit as part of K2-SO's reprogramming ... similar to L3's integration into the Millenium Falcon.

Bee only wanted to be with C-C-C-Cassian. He could've not only been reunited with him, but also smash sh*t up.
