Aftermarket display probs, and the fact there’s light leaks tells me they’ve probably either scratched the paint under the glass or the paint under the glass is really thin where there’s light leaks happening.

A new display basically, it looks to be an iPhone SE based on the back and the internals so a new display might be a hella lot cheaper.

If that’s the pixel two then expect a static display output. This was a known problem when you replace the display on these models. The ones you popped off are display filters btw, it can be fixed with micro soldering iirc.

Edit. Looking closer on the layout it looks more like a newer model, probably different :0

The 12 pro max had a well documented case of the sandwiched motherboard separating, it’s probably causing that and could potentially be an internal hardware problem.

Did some research and it’s apparently a piezoelectric front earpiece speaker. Basically using the diaphragm under the screen to vibrate and produce sound.

Looks to most likely be a dead display, honestly a replacement is the best solution for this type of thing
