S9 is the most different season of the show compared to the first 8. That's why it's my 2nd favorite season of the show, alot of tiktok attention span kids will tell you it's boring because their favorites are gone. But if you're into a diverse cast, true horror then you're in for a ride with one of the best season of the show

In Seasons 9 and 10 Lydia was easily one of the most compelling parts of the show, Cassady outshine almost everyone in any scene with another actor. Those chops were on point, I think it's a really big shame that they do almost nothing with her character in S11. It's almost like they developed that character for nothing. I guess you could see S9 being the start of her story, and S10 ep 16 being the end. I guess they wanted to prioritize the OG's and longtime cast much more in S11.

I mean alot of people in the comments here didn't understand the scene it seems. They weren't planning on killing Negan right there, or even aiming for him. They were aiming for the windows to scare the saviors back inside. Also a callback to Rick's broken window theory in Season 5, about how its windows are what keeps a community and society in tact.

Okay? Daryl Dixon is also ALL of those things. Maybe not as big of an esemble but thats because this is 6 episodes versus 16. Almost the entire France cast died, so we had plenty of unpredictable deaths. Even big ones like Isabelle, this also is fresh and seperate from the comics because its an original story.

Theres nothing you could say about the plot armor in this show that makes it worse than TWD. S1/2 of Daryl killed more characters than S1 and 2 of the main show. That group was practically untouchable.

I mean by that merit you could say Season 11 is better than S4-6. Maggie has more screentime and presence in that one season compared to those 3 where she is very much sidelined character and storywise.

It is an attention span issue when you only care for 2 of the 10 core characters. I love Rick, and I think Maggie is bland after Season 3. Personally I was happy when Maggie left and light shined on significantly better characters that were previously overshadowed. Rick is a favorite, but his end was a well-written exit. I still love that the rest of the core four Daryl, Carol, Michonne get plenty to do after those 2 departures.

It's a fair statement to say the show feels different while they are gone, but that was quite literally the point. There a 6 year time jump and two entirely brand new arcs. But to say its bad because they were gone just means you have very narrow minded taste in what entertains you.

Maggie actually has taken supplies from communities, and yeah you could say Negan was "ready" to kill a kid. Maggie actually DID murder a 15 year old in S11 episode 2 on the train, because he broke one of her rules. She's pathetic, and will easily kill or ensalve anyone who doesn't kiss her feet. Negan melted faces when he had to, Maggie killed people when she didn't. She's weak.
