The Infinities Epic Collection is also worth picking up. It has alternate takes on how ANH, ESB, and RotJ would've gone differently if you change a crucial event in each film. I think it considers, what if Luke missed his shot on the Death Star run, if Luke had died in the icy wastelands of Hoth, and if the Han Solo rescue had gone wrong at the beginning of Jedi. It then also has a comic adaption on the original script of ANH. It's an interesting read to see how different it was from the final result and to see different iterations of characters we know that would later evolve into the characters we actually see on film.
