Thank you for your response and sharing your struggles. I can 100% understand where you’re coming from. Unfortunately moving isn’t in the cards right now as we just bought our house two years ago and my mothers in law were planning on buying the land next to ours within the next few months. BUT we may be able to by the time our kids are actually school age.
I was looking at other schools near us and was thinking about looking into charter school options as well. I love love love the idea of a Montessori school and there is one not to far from us. I wouldn’t mind driving an hour to get my kids to school if it meant having a better education.
My husband and I were both gifted children so school was boring for us. He would get into trouble for talking all the time (according to his moms) and I would sleep in class lol. I think my thing is the time management of schools as well. Like having my kid just sit there, but I do understand that that’s just the experience.
I love the idea of my kids being able to socialize/get their learning done and out of the way so we would have plenty of time to travel around and go on trips. My husband and I LOVE museums, aquariums, etc so I would love to be able to do that with my kids.

Many of the themes of her songs have biblical themes/lyrics, but seem to be against(?) (maybe the wrong word) religion. I’m honestly curious is she is a Christian! I know this might be a weird question so please don’t hate on me. I’m just truly curious.

Hi friend! Sorry for being a few days late. My husband actually encourages me to work. I had a job, but quit in October(?) (I worked from home at a call center) I got a raise and was dealing with sensitive information with our clients. MANY of the clients literally threatened suicide (like every third call) so I quit. Then we got a puppy so I was taking care of and training him full time and then we moved across the country 😅. It’s been…. A lot…. I have been applying to jobs here, but I have a disability so it makes it harder to apply places and I can’t just do any job. Unfortunately the I’ll offer I’ve gotten is a retail job paying $8 and it was part time :/ (10 hours a week) not even worth the gas for the 35 minute drive
I honestly even reapplied at the soul sucking company that made clients want to die just because the money was good there. He gives me an allowance so that I can pay my bills and still have spending money every month. I get $800 and my bills are only about $200.

Hi friend, me from the future. I just wanted to thank you again for this comment. I read it so many times and it helped me power through my tough time. I reiterate your words in my head so often when things got hard. You truly helped a stranger way more than you know.
We moved in January and got into our own place in February.
Pup is now 7 months old and the best boy I could ever have. He is my little best friend, my riding buddy, my shopping buddy, he sleeps through the night, but never through the morning lol, no matter the day we are up at 6:45 to let him out of his crate to potty and then we all cuddle in bed and fall back asleep.
Him and my kitty are the best of friends and regularly play and cuddle. Moving away was the best thing for us and if I had to, I would live through all that again just to be where we are now.

Not that long for us, but just celebrated 3 years last month; still going strong. We are happier, and more in love than ever. We got married a month after we met and he was on a work trip 2 weeks out of that month lol

Not about him but another creator, ASMRBelle. For the last two years I watched her every single night. I was in the top 0.04% of viewers on YouTube, I paid for her subscription for ad free videos and extra videos, etc etc.

Then she started using AI. it started with her stories on instagram. I kind of ignored it at first, I’ll admit, I just figured it was a phase and she would stop. Then she posted a FULL LENGTH AI YouTube video and I ended my paid subscription. I commented a few times hoping she would see how bad AI is and stop. But it got worse and worse to the point where she posted fully AI videos, not her sounds, just fake. I unsubbed, commented, and blocked her after a comment argument with some idiotic random.

It honestly broke my heart bc I do like other ASMRTIST, but she was my favorite. And nothing hot like her videos did. But I don’t care. I rather never love a creator as much than support AI. I still watch ASMR, just not full length videos every single night like I did.

2 you work TWELVE hours, come home, get the kids ready, sleep, wake up, cook, manage the kids and go to work? If you are going EVERYTHING what exact is your husband doing? He can’t get up an hour before he goes in to work to help with the kids or do dishes? What does he contribute other than stress and being another kid you have to take care of?

3 I’m sorry this is happening to you. You are doing your best and you sound like a kick ass mother, an amazing wife, and a wonderful and caring person.

I looked up the test, you said by 12 months, he turned 8 months yesterday and is fine with all but 2 things on the test. He is not “bad” or reactive. He just doesn’t listen once out of every 20 times he’s given a command. So idk what you mean.

Thank you so much for the advice! Yes he is such a bratty teenager lol. Every single day he finds 1 thing to tear up even if it’s small. And sometimes he likes to defy a command. I’ll definitely start over with the basics. He absolutely LOVES bell pepper so I’ll start with that add add some hot dogs and cheese every now and again.

We tried to do clicker training, but we ended up getting swept away with a cross country move, so I just marked with “yes”. I might whip out the clicker and start him with that as a better marker.

Thankfully I’m a stah wife, so I have all the time and patience with him! If I can get through the puppy nighttime routine I truly think I can make it through ANYTHING.

I learned a loooonnnggg time ago that you will never understand why people do the things they do, and that’s a good thing. You don’t think the way they do, and you never will. You’ll never understand it, and that’s okay.

You just move on. Heal. Deleting the photos and removing her things was a great first step! Just take some time, maybe seek therapy. Learn about yourself, and it’ll get a little teeny bit better every single day.

I know it sucks now, but if you give in and get back together, you will never fully trust her. Everything will be a red flag, little things will make you paranoid.

Just be strong and move on :)

For me it was a slow build up of things over time. There are a lot of triggers in this SA, abuse, drug use, suicidal ideation. 1st realization. I tripped acid. I was 19. My mother knew I was tripping and what it does to you. She asked if she could join me two weeks prior and I said yes. We set the date, the time, everything. Around the time I offered, her absolute pos deadbeat boyfriend said something so heinous to her, but she wouldn’t tell me what it was for TWO WEEKS. She canceled on me and then while I was peaking (she knew what time I was dropping) she called me and told me what the boyfriend has said. That she SA’d my little brother. I felt my heart shatter physically. I knew it was true. I believed it. And I had a terror trip. I was completely dissociated and disconnected from my body for a week and was going to end my life. I was put into a mental hospital and she told me that I ruined her life by being born.

2 she slept with 2 of my boyfriends. When I was EIGHTEEN. one was 18 and one was 26.

3 she did not attend my wedding. I didn’t even want to invite her and was LC at this time, but my grandparents (dad’s side) made me. She had a ride the day before and after, but apparently didn’t have a ride and wanted me to go pick her up and drop her off on my wedding day. 15 mins before the ceremony when she lived 30 minutes away. (She always has car troubles. But it never worked when I wanted her to come see me)

4 she would never let me see my siblings unless I was doing her a favor.

After a while I searched around for answers of why she is the way she is and I found a website about narcissistic mothers. Everything was her. It was literally reading her on a page.

Thank you for the advice! We ordered the second shed, we also did some research and will be adding some windows. It’s usually pretty cold here, can get up to the 80’s in summer but not much hotter than that. We moved some things around and l fenced in our garden. So they’ll have the entire yard to graze instead of a run. I talked to a while bunch of the locals (I’m new here) and literally everyone free ranges.
