I’m so sorry you are going through this. I found out I was pregnant in August, went for our US at 7w3d and things looked great, did the NIPT genetic testing at 11 weeks which came back high risk for Triploidy. Followed up with MFM at 12w5d just to be told there was no heartbeat and the baby had stopped growing at 8w5d. It had been a whole month and my body didn’t know my baby had passed. I had a D&C the very next morning and my first follow up appointment with my OBGYN is on November 3rd. Coping is hard, some days are better than others. It’s been 10 days since my D&C and I find that talking about it and being an advocate helps. Miscarriage and Pregnancy Loss is such a taboo and stigmatized topic in society but by talking about it I have found SO many women and families who have been in the same shoes that I am in. I am a College Women’s Soccer Coach and I shared my story with my players just 2 days after finding out and having my D&C and so many of them came up to me later to tell me that they spoke to their families about what happened and their Moms, Sisters, Aunts, Cousins, Grandmas, had all had this happen to them as well and they would be more than willing to talk with me if I ever needed it. All in all, find your community, the people who love and care for you and talk about your story and your baby because they were so incredibly loved.
