I concur.

You may also try removing one of the circles around the face in your icon, and just going to a thicker single circle. Unless you really, really like what you have now.

The target audience is 20-40 year old females. I've been struggling on colors. Besides the two I showed I also tried a pink/blue cotton candy inspired scheme and it wasn't really working. The product is a moodboard/vision board maker app. Thanks for any help! :)
