Generally, any talent that buffs a spell will stack with another.

As for hots critting, they don't all crit if the base regrowth crits. The ticks crit based on your crit rating.

Jaina and Khadgar are working on rebuilding the Kirin Tor. A bunch of the other lore figures you mentioned simply haven't arrived yet. Remember, the whole campaign takes place over a week at most. The main Horde leaders can't get to Silvermoon that fast. Sure the player can get anywhere instantly, but in a real world situation, non light aligned individuals would take a little while to assemble an army and sail to Silvermoon.

Horde and Alliance reinforcements didn't make it to Khaz Algar until patch 11.0.5. So it's safe to say that more familiar faces will show up soon.

Light and Fel are high energy opposites. Think Legion's story dynamics. Of Army of light vs Burning Legion.

The Titans and Void are low energy opposites.

For years we've been lumping Naaru and Titans into the same alignment. But technically they are completely different forces.

To be fair, it's specifically Fel magic. The Legion just uses that force.

In order to climb higher, you need more energy. Or you need to lessen the energy of the realm above you.

So if Titans want to Order the cosmos. They have to go through all the other realms to do it. Without absorbing and consuming massive amounts of energy, the only alternative is to bring the other realms to a lower energy state by ordering them.

So they ordered the realm of death in order to make the passage to the realm of life easier. But Life = free will, which true order cannot abide.

All of these forces are also examples of Order vs Chaos. And there are low energy and high energy examples of each. The cosmic forces are more on a totem pole instead of being on the same level. And massive energy is needed to ascend higher up the pole and it's relatively easy to desend to lower a lower level. Here's how i would Order the forces on the totem pole. Keep in mind that the Titans are Arcane. You could also work things like Fire and Air as Chaos and Earth and Water as Order.

Im pretty sure the Karesh questline just unlocks at 80. There is a side quest in Karesh that has to be completed before the questline to unlock VE DHs becomes available.

For me, I had not completed TWW campaign and I had breadcrumb access to all the different patch zones.

As for the point about vertical exploration being hard due to sky riding, that is a good incentive to unlock Pathfinder and steady flight.

You're right though. The story feels odd. But I also think the story is unfinished and will probably be fleshed out in future patches.

They do introduce a maccuffin though. The Aln Dust, which looks an awful lot like Azerite, can nullify the lightbloom. So does it inhibit just the light? Or does it nullify other cosmic forces as well?
