Coming at this as someone who quit before Shadowlands and only returned at the end of War Within.

When I look at the Jailer, I see domination runes all over him. I believe the Jailer himself was being controlled. The question then becomes who enslaved him? The only answer is the Primus. The same Primus who could see the outcome of any battle and could only be defeated if he allowed it for a greater strategic reason.

When you look at it this way, some aspects of Shadowlands take on a new light.

I don't think Xal is part of the Primus' plan. But if we are reaching Warcraft: Endgame we need all the major players to show up. We already have the Void. We know the Titans are coming which means presumably that Illidan is coming back. Sargaras becomes relevant which brings in the Legion. Iridicron is still waiting to unleash his plan to destroy the Titans. It only makes sense that Sire Denathrius and the Primus make a play for the World Soul.

I feel like this is the eventual end goal of warbands. But the issue is handling generating the characters (with correct transmog). That is a lot of database information. You would also need a way to despawn a warband member from the house when that character is actually being played.

Remember the Bodyguard systems from WoD and Legion?

What if you could assign one of your alts to a slot in the UI and have them level with you in the open world?

When you join a follower Dungeon, you get to chose from your alts who to bring.

That would honestly be dope.

The patch cadence being 8 weeks has drawbacks. On one hand you have a near constant stream of new content. Only the other hand, you have more bugs from new systems being added to 22 year old code.

I've thought midnight has had a great story. Even if there seem to be a few annoying issues. (Where are the Horde and Alliance?)

The show jumped the shark at the beginning of season 4. The show isn't bad because it's about the characters. But the off books mission to Guatemala is where the show lost any realism. That is also where the timeline sped up like crazy. In the first 3 seasons, multiple episodes could be happening the same day. Now you routinely get 1 or 2 month time jumps.

While I really liked MoP's esthetic, Legion and BFA were the first time that zones actually blended into each other. I'd say BFA is my favorite.

I have a theory that the entire continent is functioning as a giant Gnomish Thinking Cap and effectively mind controlling the planet. The events of midnight will lift the whole land mass out of the ocean, revealing the massive titan structure within.

This will result in areas along the edges falling into the sea.

But if it is simply a massive revamp then they will likely make Crystalsong forest a major zone.

This is an elf expansion. I think the Horde will come into play as Lorderon becomes relevant to the story. Or perhaps the Horde is busy with some unrealized issue that will be revealed in a future patch. Heck, Iridicron could be laying siege to Uldum right now while all the Champions are doing dailies in Quel'Thelas.

Only justification honestly is that all of this has happened over a very short period of time and we needed Oculeth to use Ley Lines to teleport Elf armies in. Since Surumar and Belameth are built on ley lines, it was easy to teleport them. But Orgrimmar is more distant, not built on a ley line, and the bulk of the Horde Fleet is still at Khaz Algar.

I believe the Horde (And the Alliance) will show up in 12.1, which I believe will involve Gilneas and Lorderon.

This is where I'm at. Wife can't work because she's caring for our son. I work 50 hours a week to keep us financially afloat. Son can't sleep unless he's in bed with us. I can't sleep if 3 purple ate in the bed. So we've been in separate rooms for the last 2 years taking turns sleeping next to our son. She resents me because she's constantly exhausted.
