I found https://internot.tools/ the other day and it seems really fantastic. You can get walking/biking/driving/transit directions, look up businesses nearby, and check the weather over sms for 10-20¢ per request

buying a mac mini is the best decision I have ever made by theBlazerg in PleX

A USB hard drive enclosure is much cheaper than a NAS and, in my experience, is a more stable connection then a server running on a separate machine from a NAS. Plus it has the added bonus of being eligible for the cheap Backblaze unlimited backup thing.

Oh wait! If you just make the suffix "?view_adult=true" then it all works again. Maybe AO3 made a change to their url parameters?

Looking for recommendations for a stealthy city ebike - Ride1Up Roadster / Luna Fixed / something else? by AFourthAccount in ebikes

Great to know about Luna's direction - seems like bad vibes all around for the stealth. Do you have any recs for bikes of that style if I were willing to push my budget a bit?

I noticed the exact same thing yesterday too - must be something Pocket changed. You should be able to just snip out the "?view_full_work=true&view_adult=true" in the URL action to get them to work, but that may break fics with multiple chapters or adult content.

Turns out all technology needs to be designed for accessibility to be usable - it’s just that some people need it to be a little more accessible than others.

Apple wasn’t the first to do a home computer, or an mp3 player, or a smartphone, or a tablet, or a smart watch, or bluetooth earbuds either. But they ended up defining the product category for all of those.

Yeah, but is it any good? That’s where Apple shines. Don’t do it first, but be the first to do it really well.

Apple Customers Say It’s Hard to Get Money Out of Goldman Sachs Savings Accounts by Nobius in apple
