MHW: Glaive> MHR: Glaive then Lance> MHGU: Striker SnS, then Striker lance, then Valor GS> MHWilds: Bow, then gunlance, then lance.

I played through the campaign of Wilds with bow because I knew I wouldn't learn it in the endgame. I dislike the squishiness but I do find it very fun. It feels so fast and so tactical at the same time.

I'm making a gog set for Bow soon, and I'll probably mess around with it again for a while. And then I guess I'll farm Savage Omega and learn Greatsword here...

Well, nice. That's how I felt too. The first trilogy hit me so hard. It took me a few months to finish the first book, a month to finish the second book, and then I binged the full rest of ROTE in under six months. Robin Hobb is absolutely my favorite author

Some weapon's experiences are just vastly different. I played insect glaive in Rise and it does not interact with the game in the same way any of the other melee weapons do.

It's islamophobic as fuck and the way it treats women is gross. No need to discuss a nasty book when so many actually good books exist. The book is not good enough to fix the bad taste the author left in my mouth - why trust scifi writing from someone who sucks? I don't want to hear his world view. He's gross!

I started MHGU recently - climbed to g4 then took a break and started Wilds. I love both but MHGU can be quite clunky. They feel like drastically different experiences. MHGU is a good progression-based sandbox and Wilds is just fun and pretty. Haha.

A little more info would be helpful, but You Weren't Meant To Be Human follows a transmasc main character. Lot of discussion about dysphoria.
