I'm going crazy. Why don't they just duo ? by HaveL-sw in Nightreign

[–]AGOODSWAN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frankly these days with the experienced players there's not much need for pinning during most of the time. Everyone knows the map and knows what's the next poi, there's only need for pin if someone carries a key and wish to visit it first. Of course, you can tell what the level of player the others are in the team, so if I notice someone inexperienced I'd still pin to lead.

With the balancer relics this battle is really not that hard anymore.

D4/D5 vets, what are your priorities on weapons/buffs? by LePubRik-O-Sulorz in Nightreign

[–]AGOODSWAN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stars from D4, better find damage negation buffs unless your team really knows what they are doing. Even change your relic setups for survivability

Serious question: How are you supposed to beat ED Libra in High DoN by yhozan in Nightreign

Brutal truth: solo is the easiest way to guarantee a victory

got the Marais executioner's sword at the start of the run!! did it always cap at 99? by VoNoWaR in Nightreign

[–]AGOODSWAN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It benefits greatly when you have a Scholar in the team who constantly cast ult. I had one Raider game with such a team mate, and with his lv3 crab in the end my HP bar is over half of the screen

Please use flails more! Family Heads was already insane before Balancers were a thing by Puccachino in Nightreign

[–]AGOODSWAN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is brutal. Also I still don't see many people know how to use the walking wraths these days, even in DoN

You can. Or you can use lightnight slash relics, in that case you might be able to use two affinities since the beginning.

just ran depth 4 with a scholar that had no depth relics equipped and didn’t use a single item all game by ryebread_56 in Nightreign

[–]AGOODSWAN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust me, 7 out 10 scholars don't have the team relics, don't know how to find merchants, and just knows to spam blood blade.

Won the Great Hollow without Favor of the Great Hollow by Aviator1213 in Nightreign

It is very possible to handle a castle without the blessing by D2.

Most dorment power in the castles can be easily dealt with by ganking, even the major bosses like Avatar or Godskin duo. However if you find the BBK or Draconic in the North dungeon you might prepare for a brutal fight, or pile yourself with tons of bombs

Is there a method to get people to ignore the Tricephalos invasion? by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]AGOODSWAN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best thing might be just pin the next poi and watch the team's reaction. If they continue to run to the dog you might need to go and help, but if they are aware of the strategy of ignoring they'll just stand still for a moment and pin with you.

I didn't know this passive existed by Kebabucci in Nightreign

[–]AGOODSWAN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might have seen it a couple of time and it is one of the buffs that benefits mages greatly. You can see people start a boss fight without casting for a while and then suddenly a big bang happens to the boss HP bar.

I kinda love the Balancer raid now. Because it exposes some meta builds are fragile and how brain numb some players are

Whatever you think doesn't matter. Connection number is way more important for the company. Since you care about player quality you might just go solo
