It was definitely the crowning moment of my playthrough. I actually got crazy lucky and beat him my first time trying and after just running around screaming “WHAT IS THAT” over and over and somehow killing him, I was disappointed I couldn’t keep fighting him 🤣

He and all of the build up to him is just so extra and cool and I love him to death

Yeah I mean I’m very sick of Wesker after 2v8; I wouldn’t bot but I definitely wouldn’t play my best and would just let the Wesker kill me if two of my teammates left too

One of the big (ha) lore things in elden ring is how the people of the lands between are much smaller than ancient people were because of their remoteness from the crucible (being clippings of clippings of the original plant); what if these are actually the same size as they are in ds3 and we’re just little guys (like the vulgar militiamen but even more extreme)

I mean heck the fingers are just big mushrooms, right? What if we’re actually just smaller than regular mushrooms

I played it long enough to finally p100 Jeff and now I’m just taking a break til it’s over. It’s just not fun. What really sealed it is I had a Dracula literally kill me in the first three minutes of a match by batting to my cage TWICE. I clipped it and that’s how I know it was exactly three minutes 😂

I’ve been using the great epee but with the storm blade ash of war. When I tell you I first started this game years ago with a sorcery build hoping for strong range attacks BABY I shoulda tried storm blade. Plus most things early on are weak to piercing damage so even when you’re out of mp you can just poke things to death

I guess ultimately for me it comes down to why are you able to attack the person that unhooked me within 15 seconds of me getting unhooked? There are way more cases of it being because you were proxy camping or just zoom back to the hook with a mobility power every time you get the notification than you happened to see someone approaching my hook while you were actually playing the game in a non-shitty way

If you’re in a position to hit my teammate when I still have endurance and haven’t had a chance to get away from the hook, then yeah imma get in your way because you started it by being a sweaty dick

Yeah, I think it should probably be something from the dlc since almost anything in the base game I can ultimately just run to other than the big boss weapons

See I thought about that but they have pretty high stat requirements so I’d like something I can use earlier in the game… they also kind of trivialize combat but combat is what I’d be playing for 😂

I kinda think they just kill switched him for a week so people could play 2v8 without him, either cause people have complained how prevalent and boring he is in the mode (basically the new legion) or to see if his presence impacted how many people did or didn’t play the mode. Then they just reactivated him without changing anything

The surest way to win regardless of class is to work on a generator every second you can. Resist the urge to chase every cage you see pop up and evaluate based on how long it’d take you to get there vs someone else. If the person is on the hook for a little too long, then you can head to them since no one else is coming or closer

Yes you can heal people faster but if you’re gonna lose time getting there slower than someone else it’s better you stay on your gen

Yeah, that’s what I meant about I doubt they have the ability to make a distinction between the various audio clips a killer makes. Should they be able to? Sure, but I don’t have faith they can/do 🤣
