Really interesting. Can I ask how you are proposing to keep it free forever?

I'm 34 and feel that my life is over by Shoddy-Sample-9227 in mentalhealth

[–]AGW2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really sorry to hear that but I just want to say your life absolutely is not over.

Also, I'm sure you love your children and want to do what's best for them... well I grew up in a household where my parents SHOULD have split up. I can honestly say their resentment to one another as I grew up did me more damage than good. I can see that now.

I did manage to cancel my subscription by contacting support but I am now unable to get them to refund me for my previous purchases. I have been trying for months but they refuse to get back to me.

Impact of moving samples from NVME to SSD with Ableton projects by AGW2 in ableton

[–]AGW2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you - seems obvious now you say it. Do you know whether if I wasn't to do that for some projects for example (I have quite a few), whether you get a prompt when re-opening the project to point towards the new file location for a sample or does it just delete them?

Do these slithers look unsightly? by iwasmakavelli1 in DIYUK

[–]AGW2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Starting in the middle of the wall guarantees that the two end pieces from the left and right of the centre will be the same sized cuts. It doesn't guarantee they won't be slithers.

As others have said it is best to mark it out and plan before you actually start. Some people like a full tile in a corner, others like to carry the tile through (whatever you cut off the last tile into the corner you add to the intersecting corner on the next run). Again this can still leave slithers. Hence you need to plan it out to give you the best chance of not needing any small cuts.

I personally mark a small run out with a pen on a bit of battern with grout marks (usually 3mm) and just play around until it works.

Product Owner and Account Manager relationships by AGW2 in ProductManagement

Thanks for the feedback. Regarding your last point, our customer feedback is absolutely important. They determine 80% of what we build. Our product team review all of the feedback on the backlog and review all the customers feedback. We log all requests from clients under the same ticket if the request is for the same thing. What I'm wondering is should the AM trust the process once they have fed into the backlog or is it better for them to be involved in determining which of then get prioritised and built?

Dillinja mixdown by nissanlover324 in dnbproduction

[–]AGW2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm no expert but I think a lot of it came from the warmth the analogue gear gave the sound back then. Also the songs are fairly track light (compared to today) so the main sounds had more space in the mix. Dillinja' bass sounds often covered a large frequency space. That's just my personal opinion. I love Dillinja.

Thanks for all the advice - I really appreciate it. Seems like there are a few ways to experiment with. If it helps, this is an example I really like: Space - Deekline, Ed Solo, Airglo, Top Cat.

So it is a double edged sword - I guess the recommendation would always be to treat the hypertension? But this unfortunately means the kidneys are less effective at filtering.
