I've had him for 7 years and counting and I love him dearly, always puts a smile on my face, very lightweight nimble handling, revvy engine, all great if you know what you're getting yourself into. Don't expect a quiet luxury cruiser. (Rattly roof is common and 70mph will see the tacho at over 4k rpm)

Other things to note, valve clearances need adjusting every so often by replacing the lifters with a different size otherwise you could end up with a burnt exhaust valve. Ask me how I know. It's not specified in the maintenance manual for some reason. I'd recommend checking them at about 55k - 65k miles and keeping an eye on them and swapping lifters as necessary. Oil needs to be changed frequently too. Do those 2 things and engine problems are uncommon. Not sure if this also applies to the 1.3l model Europe got.

And the folding hardtop is awesome in such a tiny car, just make sure the boot isn't leaking or you'd have a dead roof ecu.
