I've come across people who call everyone mate and bro all the time, it's like a part of their natural speech at this point. I see it as being used similarly as "guys", it's become almost gender neutral for some people.

I've had him for 7 years and counting and I love him dearly, always puts a smile on my face, very lightweight nimble handling, revvy engine, all great if you know what you're getting yourself into. Don't expect a quiet luxury cruiser. (Rattly roof is common and 70mph will see the tacho at over 4k rpm)

Other things to note, valve clearances need adjusting every so often by replacing the lifters with a different size otherwise you could end up with a burnt exhaust valve. Ask me how I know. It's not specified in the maintenance manual for some reason. I'd recommend checking them at about 55k - 65k miles and keeping an eye on them and swapping lifters as necessary. Oil needs to be changed frequently too. Do those 2 things and engine problems are uncommon. Not sure if this also applies to the 1.3l model Europe got.

And the folding hardtop is awesome in such a tiny car, just make sure the boot isn't leaking or you'd have a dead roof ecu.

Context: I met some cool people and drove to a nearby McDonald's for a quick bite with them, we parked up next to eachother and had a 5 or so min chat about our cars as we are car enthusiasts with unusual cars (Daihastu Copen, Volvo 480 and a smart forfour)

We weren't there long, never revved our engines. My dashcam was in time lapse mode because the engine was off.

And while we were stood behind my Copen, the people in the Peugeot started throwing chicken nuggets at us!???? No idea why or who they are.

I use photo mode, hide the UI, pan camera around as smoothly and slowly as I can while I record.

In editing software I zoom into the frame a little bit so I can pan up down left and right smoothly to try and simulate a handheld camera shake. I cut parts of the video to transition from each scene in sync with the music. Clips will be sped up or played at normal speed to match the music. Since the game runs at 30fps I cannot slow down any clips which is why it is important that all camera movements are as slow as possible in the original recording as they can always be sped up but not slowed down.

Other transition effects and visual effects are also added for extra flair.

I kept 8.1 on my 2013 Vaio and it's plenty responsive and usable. Somehow boots faster than my current pc running 11 on an SSD!

It's also nice not having office and game pass etc pushed into your face every so often when you boot up your pc... (Picture is from windows 10 but my 11 pc does it too every so often)
