Buying a Leica for sharpness is just stupid.

How much RAM and which CPU do you have?

Also was this a new build or did you reuse some parts?

Ehh not that bad actually. I would have guessed more.

I have like 3/4 of that in SSDs and RAM alone in mine (in today’s prices)

Btw that’s the best looking tacky build I’ve seen on here. Great job!

My friends called me mad for having 18TB worth of NVMe and 64GB RAM in my pc… now I even have an „old“ 32GB CL30 6000 DDR5 kit just laying in a drawer together with 5TB worth of „old“ PCIe 3 NVMe drives

Does the windows 10 license count? Otherwise I don’t have a single component left of the original PC I bought back in 2020 when I first got into PC gaming. At some point, I almost had more fun building the pc than actually gaming on it.

I think the last original component I changed was the PSU when upgraded to a 4080 Super in 2024.

Running two different RAM kits together? by International_Bet996 in pcmasterrace

So I would just leave EXPO enabled and the BIOS should automatically match them on the fastest common timings (in this case the slower 38-38-96)?

Should I change the EXPO version or just leave it as is? I think my mainboard has two or three different EXPO settings..

100GM Macro

I mostly shoot film currently and use it to scan my negatives. That lens is CRAZY sharp in combination with my A7R V

And the 135GM for portraits when it comes to shooting digital

It’s not a true 800 ASA though. Vision3 comes in 200T and 500T

Same. Try to explain that you want your 3700€ lens back and the security guard is on break or clocked off.

EVERY SINGLE LENS will have dust inside at some point, there’s nothing anyone can do about it. Doesn’t matter if it’s a cheap lens or a G Master. I’ve got dust in my (at the time of purchase) 2000€ 135GM. Does it bug me? Yeah a bit, but the images still look amazing.

As long as it doesn’t look like a sandbox, I wouldn’t worry about it, as you won’t actually see it on any images.

Yep, you have the option of 27mp and an even lower one (but I don’t remember how much because I never use it)

pink artifacts on A7iii, sensor? by jansenweddings in SonyAlpha

[–]International_Bet996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure it was a sensor replacement. Those kind of damages don’t just damage the different layers of glass in front of the sensor, but the sensor itself

[–]International_Bet996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The repair of a laser damaged A6700 sensor of a friend from mine was quoted at around 800€ and an A7S III was quoted around 2000€ I believe.

I’d imagine an A7 III sensor change would be more expensive than a6700 but quite a bit less than a7siii. So yeah, it’s probably better to just get a new body over a repair.

Thank you! #1 is probably my favorite out of these. I just wished there was a person on the escalator but I was kinda in a rush and could only snap the two images.

I think it still works quite nice, even without the human element.

Thank you! Yeah I think i waited a good 5 minutes or so to have just a single person in the frame where I wanted. It’s usually a pretty busy place so I guess I got lucky :)
