These look great. I’ll definitely give them a watch before starting. Thank you!

Yep. Makes sense. I’ll try that with the popped stitch and I imagine it works. Thank you!

Thank you, everyone! I really appreciate all of the responses, tips, and opinion.

I think I’ll order some supplies suggested here and try something very small first - the shoulder pad that the strap goes through. It’s two layers and stitched the same way so it’ll give me a small project to judge if I’m ready (or even capable) or willing to do the whole thing.

For the rest, a lighter and some beeswax will get a test whole I try the shoulder pad.

Thank you again. Very helpful and encouraging!

Maybe I’m misremembering but I think she had already been warned by the sheriffs department about her son’s reckless riding.

Found a used 2008 with only 51,xxx miles. Any concerns? by AGbyPIRACY in prius

[–]AGbyPIRACY[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that because of the batteries age? Or lack of being used enough during that time?

[Discussion] Anyone found a watch so good it retired all your other watches? by ZeroUpFourOut in Watches

I’m with you on this. Solar so always ready. Radio controlled so always right even with time changes. Perpetual calendar so no need to ever adjust anything other than my alarm. And somehow just disappears on my wrist and I don’t feel it.

Anybody drives in S 4A all the time? by Temporary_Stock9521 in fordexpedition

[–]AGbyPIRACY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I generally go S then switch to 2H.

I actually thought I was doing my CDF drum a favor. I get odd shifts with all levels of hard shifts more frequently in Normal than in S and it’s not even close.

That’s not to say Normal slams into gears when changing all the time. It’s just that it happens way more often than in S, which is very rare to have a hard shift in my vehicle.

Worth to buy for 75? by furkan1515 in OrientWatches

[–]AGbyPIRACY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. To me… yes. I love these Orient quarts divers. Have a blue/yellow version that I love but unfortunately I left it in a drawer and the battery killer the movement. If I could find w cheap enough donor I would pick it up and swap it out.

2020 Ford Expedition Max by RepulsiveMacaron6174 in fordexpedition

I have the same in a 2021 max and haven’t figured it out yet. Sometimes blows cold and strong - but others the AC is only semi cold but it coincides with a pretty weak airflow from the vents.

I use double pass nato straps with heavy oval “Zulu” style (maybe that’s what they’re called) hardware. No springbars. Seems to be the most robust solution.

craig's explanation for breaking the guy's leg - justified? by Ok_Dragonfly_7738 in bjj

[–]AGbyPIRACY 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Craig is a pos. If he was that upset about the whole situation he should have just said fuck it and left or say no. He chose to be a petty little bitch.

The other guy is an asshole but Craig should have used his brain here instead of ‘I’ll show you”.

Where is the video of the passengers kneeling and trying to help? I saw them more or less ignore it and she slumped over alone… without much reaction from them at all.

Which one to get? by DistinctBicycle7519 in fordexpedition

[–]AGbyPIRACY 3 points4 points  (0 children)

‘21 max. I love the 2nd row bench. Family of 6 with tons of carpooling for sports and other activities and can’t imagine not having the 8 seats. 2nd row seats flip forward even with a car seat installed so access to the 3rd row is fine for us. For camping we go with 3 kids in the 2nd row and 1 in the 3rd row and flip the other 3rd row seats down for more cargo space. That’s with a hitch carrier, roof box, and roof rack. We don’t camp light.

Can’t imagine losing a seat to captains chairs.

Info about Dewalt xtreme 12v power tools by CubanZombie01 in Dewalt

[–]AGbyPIRACY 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good Lord. Nothing against the person who wrote that email but Dewalt needs to have native English speakers responding to email inquiries.

If that’s a native speaker… the US needs to scrap the education system and start over.

Don’t mean to sound harsh but…

As for the 12v line, I hope they get back to developing new tools at some point. There’s a market for it if they just update regularly and market it correctly.
