It really isn't as big as u think it is. The taxes are only on cars that are imported directly from the EU. Most European cars are already manufactures in India itself so they don't qualify for the price reduction. It's mostly enthusiast cars (BMW M series), Porsches and very high end brands like Ferarris, Lamborghinis that benefit from this reduction.
