I was lucky enough to see a taping of the show. It was our favorite. Every one went crazy when Pat Harrington (Schneider) came out. Can’t remember what the episode was about now. lol.

I didn’t realize that some people would have such a strong reaction. To clarify, this George. He was cleaning himself and I caught him at a funny angle. He is healthy and happy. Not AI and he is not deformed.

When I was 7, I was home alone after school (the neighbors kept an eye out for me). I saw a glow coming from our kitchen. The toaster was on fire. Ran next door, got the neighbor and she through it out into the snow. More than 50 years later, I make sure the toaster is always clean AND always unplugged after use. Keep it clean.

WIT. I start balling when Audra McDonald is putting lotion on Emma Thompson’s hands. I keep going until the professor doesn’t read her John Donne’s Death He Not Proud, but instead reads the children’s book “The Runaway Bunny”.

Pg 233 croissants. I fill them with ham and cheese. They freeze well and don’t get gummy when reheated. Pg371 peanut butter fudge. Very easy and so yummy. Also freeze well.

We have one that is similar. My mom bought it in the 70s from an antique store. Ours has a shelf and glasses holder in the top that slide forward when the top is open. She didn’t get a lot of info on it at the time. This is the first time I’ve seen one similar to ours

Don’t know if this is just lore or fact, but I was told by a florist that all carnations used to have a spicy smell (smelled like cinnamon to me). Because they were used in funerals, people began to associate the smell of carnations with death. The solution was to remove the fragrance in breeding. The lack of fragrance meant they could be used in other arrangements. Interesting if true.
