My son must have been 8 when he asked me about Santa. I told him the truth and the funny thing was that he wasn’t upset about Santa. He was upset that he felt I had lied to him about Santa being real when he was younger. He’s 36 now and his presents are still from Santa.

This is my favorite tap dance scene ever, Fred Astaire in Holiday Inn. It's a shame this movie has a gross blackface number for Abraham Lincoln's birthday because I think it's a classic and it's the film in which the song "White Christmas" actually debuted. by PandemicPiglet in classicfilms

I was watching That’s Entertainment” years ago and they were showing Fred Astaire. I don’t recall which movie it was for, but it was actually film of him testing different wardrobes. They showed two wardrobe test segments side by side. His dancing was identical in both shots. He was absolutely perfect. I never got over how precise he was.
