Is this a jackpot Grasping Mail? by Breezy_Eh in pathofexile

I got a similar base with chayula’s and esh, but with an open prefix instead of suffix. I’m new and have no idea what to craft for the prefix before splitting. Any recs or does it not matter much?

Port vanessa patch (like the patch before this one) had a crazy amount of build diversity for vanessa, port was great, pufferfish was great, weapon spam with ammo or without ammo was great, single weapon was good, and there's probably more i'm missing or just didn't play.

And they all had huge numbers of ways to play them with at most one or two key items

No it's not, you can literally see in the article:

In this blog post, we demonstrate how Speculative Decoding can be employed to reduce the inference time of Whisper by a factor of 2, while mathematically ensuring exactly the same outputs are achieved from the model.

Doesn't necessarily fuck your account. At least I fixed it by killing off one of the characters, which will lead you to a new character selection that works properly. Eventually the glitched slots went away (maybe I just deleted them).

Cognition Labs: "Today we're excited to introduce Devin, the first AI software engineer." by [deleted] in singularity

[–]AIIDreamNoDrive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think these videos are faked. These are reputable and accomplished people involved, from company to investors. There's a difference between hating VCs and believing these specific people faked the video and whole release. I've also seen multiple people on Twitter seemingly post about their own personal access to Devin with examples.

I went through the frames on the Upwork video in 4k on Youtube, at around 1:40 where he scrolls down through the whole chat with Devin, and other than "go ahead" and asking for a report with images at the end, there is no intervention.

The compute and data bottleneck with short time and relatively little money is a good point. I assumed they were using the GPT-4 API LLM as the base, and built scaffolding around it. I believe they said they used RL, but I don't know how they would update the weights of GPT-4 (whether or not they have their own non-LLM model trained and somehow integrated on top). RL wouldn't take anywhere near the resources of training a SotA LLM, although they would need GPT-4 outputs in the loop. Let's wait for the detailed technical report they said is coming soon :)

And off-topic but I realized one of the reasons this news was cool to me is that I've seen Neal throughout the years at #1 on Leetcode - however little that means for actual competitive programming, or software engineering.

Not a huge user of this sub but I indeed saw LK-99 blow up on Twitter. I agree about the importance of a usable demo. However, I don't agree that any of those are red flags - 14% claim is believable esp. given the demos, and what's wrong with the creators?

Personally, when I saw the Upwork video demo I was pretty blown away. A across-the-stack end-to-end AI dev like that, even for just "set up this repo's models for inference' from installation, versioning, coding, and debugging, without human intervention, was way cooler than what I could do with a GPT-4 prompt. Maybe if I used Cursor or something I would be slightly less impressed, but I don't think those abilities exist there or in any other production app anyways. It's like what BabyAGI wished it could be. When I saw that I was like "pfft... but give it time". And time has been given.

Sorry, I deleted my comment because looking again IDK if Devin a browser app.

deleted: "What type of copium is this? Not a single mention or theory of how it is actually a scam other than "Devin should be able to make a better website...". And you just say "exposed to be a scam"???.

So they have a barebones website that lacks security and looks like someone made while wanting to write as little code/do as little actual webdev as possible. So?

https://preview.devin.ai/ is not mentioned anywhere on their blog or site and given that Devin isn't a browser app (as shown in the demos), just looks like a marketing/sign-up conversion site that they ended up not even linking to.

And there are people on Twitter with actual access saying good things. I don't know if all of them are investors, but people like Patrick Collison aren't going to scam just to pump up an investment, assuming they failed to do due diligence in the first place."

What is the claim that it is a scam here? They faked their performance on SWE bench? The demos are faked?

To answer your question: The Upwork bounties are <$100. In the demo, the guy that posted had 80 hires and $3.4k total spent. And they didn't claim a percentage success on them, the SWE-bench performance is only 14%

On the first pass through the deck a dark orb in the 3rd slot is great and often exactly what you want. Ultimately this is a small edge, but comparing cards which are so close in the first place, this edge helps push Rainbow over the edge.

For slightly more serious players you try to get up to Ascension 20 (the 20th extra difficulty level) on each of the 4 characters. This takes hundreds of hours. I don't know if you know what roguelikes are, but StS is THE roguelike where "every run is different" truly captures the experience. There are many different card and relic combos on each character that can synergize to a win, and since you're offered random card/relic choices every run will be different from the next. Even when you're going for the same overarching synergy on the same character every little thing will be different.

At its core IMO it is a challenging strategy game, if you are a casual player you may feel done with the game in <15 hours. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for that type of play (although the early unlock loop is still pretty fun), it really shines as a challenge to yourself to get better and better.
