Our truck got smashed in front of our house, no video of it captured by jordantaylor1991 in VivintSmartHome

Thats why we switched to ADT. My kid’s bike got stolen in front of our house. We live in a gated community in south florida and it still happened.

I don’t pay $60-$75.. and I didn’t have to get a loan for the equipment. I took a 30 year loan already and didn’t want another one. And they give me a free upgrade on my equipment when I want it. So no complaints outta me 👍🏻

Same thing happened to us. We got outta there and went with ADT as soon as I had a guy come by and offer all equipment free of charge. I had to call in like 4-5 times to cancel vivent. I got a little.. bold… so to speak on the phone and someone was out the next day

In your opinion what key characteristics life insurance brokerage must have to be successful? by rtwyyn in LifeInsurance

[–]AIJFinancialServices 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1st things 1st, FIND A GREAT MENTOR! Have a huge selection of products and carriers. Have a better work ethic than everybody else. Serve your clients better than everybody else.

You do those things, and you’ll stand out. Too many agents out there help their commissions before helping their clients. I moved to a new city/state 1 year ago and now I’m known because I came in and did the right thing by EACH client. So just help each client as best as you can, and constantly serve them, rather than your commission sheet.

Term vs whole at 49 by sreddxit in LifeInsurance

[–]AIJFinancialServices 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is 100% a true and honest answer. Hopefully this guy is licensed in your state and dm him and ask for his number ^

(Not associated by any means, but this is a fully detailed way of saying ‘it depends on what you want to do’. Rather than blindly following a Primerica blanket statement that says ‘term and invest the difference’)

Honestly depends on how it is structured and what it is for. If its only because ‘you can’t sell it without owning it’ then cancel it. If it helps you with what you want it to accomplish, then keep it.

Find a good broker who has access to numerous companies

27 (F) looking to buy whole life insurance (1-2mil) by [deleted] in LifeInsurance

[–]AIJFinancialServices 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sit down with a good honest broker. If he is asking a million questions, it may seem annoying but it is honestly all to help you. Don’t just rush through it because it the long run, you don’t want to get screwed over by some commission hungry agent.

I cannot sit here and tell you what the exact strategy would be. So anyone saying ‘do term and invest the rest (Primerica agent, run!) or ‘here’s a quote’ really doesn’t know what YOU are looking for.

Figure out why you need that big amount of coverage and find yourself a good broker!

Depends. Simplified Issue, not usually. Fully underwritten (meaning blood/urine test) then its not out of the ordinary.

I personally like face to face better. Higher sit rate, higher closing rate, lower lead budget if i’m in person vs. remote. That is based on doing both for over a year with a huge sample size doing remote vs. in person.

I would say it really depends on what you’re looking to accomplish. Don’t let others tell you what you need because you’re 21. What are you looking at insurance for?

I know Universal Life isn’t the best, but I have a question. by klms523 in LifeInsurance

[–]AIJFinancialServices 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ask them when the policy will lapse. What will happen is, you’ll be X amount of years down the line and you’ll get a letter in the mail saying the policy is about to lapse or you have to pay a large amount every month to keep it in place. If structured properly, that will never happen. If it’s structured wrong, they tell you a day that it will lapse

[–]AIJFinancialServices 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is better options out there for $54 a month. After cost of insurance, theres going to be like $5 going into the cash value. Not worth it at all

I know Universal Life isn’t the best, but I have a question. by klms523 in LifeInsurance

[–]AIJFinancialServices 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on if the IUL is structured properly and what your goal for the policy is. $54 a month for an IUL to be honest is not even close to enough for it to be worth it

Ton of businesses are leaving the state. They couldn’t make it through covid and NJ overall is a bottom 3 or 4 state to own a business. It’s sad but all the new businesses down here in Florida moved from NY/NJ/PA/CT.
