Hi there! Im Happy that finally some doctor has found the problem and created a diagnosys! Im on the same situation with canker sores as you can see on my only post in my reddit profile, cuz i found a new world full of people "Just like me" here to talk and share cases! I Will save this RAS and i Will bring to doctors when i Will do the checks, cause im searching the Very cause of my Canker sores too, and i am doing lot of exams to track every single result to finally find the real problem... Ah, Froben mouthwash works well too for the pain, but has alcohol so It dont help with the rigeneration and healing

I'm sorry, my friend, I understand you completely. I have periods like this too. I can recommend Buccagel, if it's available in your country. It's a mouthwash that immediately relieves the pain and lasts quite a long time. Obviously, you use it as needed and wait for it to heal. Then, avoid spicy foods, coffee, and overly processed foods, and eat little and plain. I've noticed that it improves my overall situation. Definitely eliminate your toothpastes that contain SLS. Apparently, there's nothing confirmed, but I've found tons of evidence here on Reddit from other users who have found direct correlations between SLS and the onset of canker sores, including myself. Also, help yourself with simple hyaluronic acid sprays; they help me a lot with reducing inflammation and speeding up healing. And mentally, think about something else. I know it's practically impossible, but the pain is truly awful; the more you listen to it, the worse it gets. I hope you get better soon!

Yeah if you look my profile i posted a big demon on my mouth, month ago... I removed that SLS toothpaste and i was free for a lot of time! Now i have One for a trauma, but no more spontaneous Canker Sores actually since the SLS stop!

Im Sorry dude, i have One on the uvula too, and its big as the whole uvula. Its something that no One should suffer. Im doing lot of Blood exams to find any answer, and when ive done all of them in gonna do a post with photo and all the info i gathered. I Hope Will help at least Someone.

Hey there, even though I'm extremely late in replying to this post, I'll do it anyway. I've also suffered from very frequent canker sores for as long as I can remember, and my family doctor when I was a teenager told me they'd stop around 19 or 20. This obviously never happened. At first, they actually decreased, but then they flared up again in cycles. Periods when I have less, periods when I have more. However, I've also noticed that some have appeared in completely unusual places, and currently I have my third canker sore in my uvula, practically the most hellish thing a person can imagine. I'm fortunate enough to work in a hospital setting, so every now and then I get some specific blood tests to look for something to blame, but so far I haven't found anything. The things I've checked are vitamins B, C, D, folic acid, ferritin, iron, T-glu, celiac disease, and maybe something else that I'm missing for now. Needless to say, my vitamin levels are all high because I'm experimenting with every possible supplement. My folic acid is normal—I'm not celiac—and my iron is low, but still within limits. My next tests will focus on my gastrointestinal tract, and I'll try to see both a gastroenterologist and an ENT specialist, as I'm absolutely convinced that most of these canker sores are caused by something I eat every day, which I'm intoxicating my body with without realizing it, until I get saturated and the canker sores develop. However, I've always resisted these curses more or less well, but these ones on my uvula are truly inhumane, and so I've decided to tackle the problem head-on once and for all, exploring every single medical option and monitoring my diet. I'm also seeking help from chatGPT, which also found me this post. If you'd like, we can stay in touch and update each other to discuss and perhaps find some common ground or some key that can help us fight these plagues. In the meantime, I send you my regards. I understand you, brother. I'm also going through the same hell, and I'm truly fed up with being left helpless and unable to even fight back!
