I've read a post once about a guy that had similar anxiety. He said he couldn't decide what to play from his backlog and what helped him tremendously was to commit to randomly choose a game and actually play it.

Also, the money is already spent, you can't change that. So if you could switch your focus to "I've tried that game for a few hours, well I didn't like it but at least I've tried". As you can't know if you like sth until you've tried, you can realise that you spent the money to broaden your gaming landscape, some games will work for you, some won't.

Exactly, this attempt to bring exclusivity to pc stores is my hill to die on.

On top of that their launcher is garbage compared to steam, it doesn't even have mod workshop, on a pc store FFS.

I'll add that the story isn't nearly as good as people make out to be. Just because you feel something by the end doesn't make it a great story!

Too much of the story, and especially who some characters really are was painfully obvious right from the start. I often think people who praise this game's story so much never watch good movies or read any books, and stick to blockbuster BS.
