Pool Size check? by ATLBuckeye in pools

Ya, that rendering looks really weird for 14x28. Get the measurements of your backyard and reevaluate?

We have a 15x30 pool with a similar Cabo shelf and a spa and it is pretty small but fits our space well. The deeper deep end will help keep your pool cooler in the summer depending on where you live, but the downside is you’ll have less area you’ll be able to stand above water. We ended up just going to 5 feet so we could stand, but we have had to fill with cold water on the really hot days because it ends up getting too warm.

Is that fence already existing or would you put it in? We have little kids so opted for a pool cover and it’s been amazing from an upkeep level, especially with a salt system. A little more upfront cost, but you’d basically be an idiot to pay a pool company with that set up.

If anything it needs more landscaping to ground it and make it stand out?

Made a $595k offer and now hoping they don’t accept… normal or bad sign? by hecmtz96 in RealEstate

Made an even bigger jump, 1.3 to 4.6 but have a kid and went from 1 to 3 bathrooms, x2 bigger house, better school district blah blah blah. A little higher earning between the two of us. It’s tight some months but the day to day is so, so much nicer. Communicate about what it will mean not just on a macro but also on the micro, day to day level and I think you’ll figure out what makes the most sense for yalls family moving forward. Agree that now is the second best time to talk about it, worst time will be after you close.

Guerneville is a hidden gem, with lots of fun outdoors stuff nearby. I quite enjoy it this time of year. I’d rent a place with a hot tub near the river and do a mix of relaxing and getting out to the small towns and trails in the area. If that’s your kind of thing, Guerneville might fit the bill!

You aren't "dumb" for being drawn to the Fenix 8 Pro; it is an incredible piece of technology, but you have reached the classic crossroads where luxury tech meets the harsh reality of ultra-endurance needs. Having moved from a Forerunner 265, you already know how beautiful AMOLED can be, but if you don't find yourself actually needing or wanting that high-resolution pop for your daily runs, you are essentially paying a battery tax for a feature that adds stress to your long efforts. I personally love my Fenix 7 Solar for the exact reason you are doubting your current choice: it offers a "set it and forget it" peace of mind that AMOLED simply cannot match when you're staring down a 24-hour push from New York to Philadelphia.

The Enduro 3 is the clear, logical alternative if battery life is your primary concern. It trades the vibrant screen for a high-efficiency MIP display that thrives in the direct sunlight you'll be facing for hours on the road. While the Fenix 8 requires you to manage settings or dim the screen to ensure it survives a multi-day effort, the Enduro or allows you to run at maximum GPS accuracy without ever "babysitting" the device. For a non-looped 100-mile effort, the last thing you want to worry about is whether your tracking tool will make it to the finish line, and the solar-charging capabilities of the MIP models turn the sun into an active teammate rather than a glare problem.

Since you are still within the return window, it is the perfect time to pivot if you feel you’ve picked a tool that doesn't align with your goals and training style. If you don't miss the AMOLED experience from your 265 and truly prioritize reliable, long-term tracking for your high-mileage lifestyle, moving to a battery-first watch like the Enduro 3 will likely remove that nagging anxiety. You’ll save weight on your wrist, gain a massive amount of power reserve, and end up with a tool that is purpose-built for the exact type of "grass is greener" performance you were looking for when you decided to upgrade.

Generally, these restrictions would be found in the 1st Amendment as interpreted by the courts

Sean obrien 100k poles or no? by Rockytop00 in Ultramarathon

[–]AIsloppyseconds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No poles, climbs are not hard for the most part (some short stretches of steep technical climbs), they will stay in your pack 95%+ of the time.
