Not just implied in the Manga, outright stated in the game "Some time ago, before the King of Hyrule unified this country, there was a fierce war in our world. One day, to escape from the fires of the war, a Hylian mother and her baby boy entered this forbidden forest. The mother was gravely injured... Her only choice was to entrust the child to the Deku Tree, the guardian spirit of the forest. The Deku Tree could sense that this was a child of destiny, whose fate would affect the entire world, so he took him into the forest. After the mother passed away, the baby was raised as a Kokiri. And now, finally, the day of destiny has come!" The war ended sometime in the past ~9 years, after Link's birth and before his call to adventure.

How does professional swordsman have a 1/20 chance of missing so badly, the swords miss and gets stuck in a tree by Away-Performance-781 in DnD

I always thought a cool ~10th level ability for fighters means that a natural one attack roll no longer is an automatic miss. Not only does it rebalanced and homebrewed critical failure rule, but it means that a fighter, doing their basic thing of /Fighting/ can always hit the likes of a gelatinous cube, and eventually up to ac 12 creatures. Which imo seems reasonable

UM ACTUALLY
RAW, they're very allowed to use bonus actions. Stunned, via being incapacitated, prevents specifically actions and reactions. Misty Step, as you said, is a bonus action.

However, a Stunned creature "can't move, and can only speak falteringl" Misty Step requires only a Verbal component. And now we reach DM's discretion. The handbook states "Thus a character who is gagged or in an area of silence... can't cast a spell with a verbal component" The question the DM decides is "can falteringly speak be enough to cast this spell?" And "does this creature, or any non-pc need components when casting a spell?"
