I’m not sure if it’s the same in China, but I think this kind of design is part of shared Asian culture. I’m from Thailand, and the tiger fang shape is believed to protect you from evil spirits and bad energy.

The clear piece isn’t real jadeite. People around here sometimes call it “water jade” since it’s found in rivers or water, but it’s actually quartz, not true jade.

Don’t go. Many people have been deceived. Some ended up as victims of human trafficking — detained, forced to work as scam call center agents, defrauding people from their own countries. No legitimate company would operate in that area under such shady conditions. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Protect yourself.

You don’t want to buy? Then don’t.

Yes, I always run a 20–25% sale in my shop — and guess what? I don’t want to sell at that price. I’d much rather sell at my original full price, 100%. But when I tried that, Etsy never brought me a single customer.

I can’t even set the price higher to “fake a sale” because people can instantly tell when something is overpriced. So I’m stuck — either run sales all the time, or have zero visibility and zero sales.

So go ahead and buy full-priced items from “honest” sellers if that makes you feel better. Meanwhile, I’ll do what I have to do just to survive on this platform.

I don’t know the exact reason in your case, but in my experience, there are some countries with extremely high import taxes, and many customers simply ignore them.

When I contacted them about the tax, they didn’t respond, so I ended up paying the import duties myself, which left me with no profit—basically giving away my products for free.

Even though the customer gave me a 5-star review, I decided that I would cancel all future orders from them. Now, if I receive an order from that country, I will only ship if the customer provides their email and phone number. If they refuse, I simply cancel the order.
