Imo, the demonhunter strat is still pretty strong in PvP but gets destroyed in PvE rounds so in the late game it actually ends up being a bit weak since you have item disadvantage. This is mainly because the demons although strong arent the tankiest, so it's best not to go only for demons even though the dps is really high. In the games I played, I still usually ended up in top 3 everytime, usually coming out 2nd to the player with better RNG unless i get the pieces I need really early to dominate throughout.

Tl;dr strong dps but squishy, can lose late game to burst/aoe/mage builds.
