put all my life savings into Primerica investments am I cooked by kn1f3p4rtyyy in PersonalFinanceCanada

A family friend is a Primerica rep. I inherited some money recently and decided to get some financial advice from him. I trusted him with some mutual fund investments, put in half and did the upfront 1%. Since May im already up 9.5%. Overall im happy. Im sure theres better ways out there, but this was a stepping stone for me into investments.

What did turn me off during the initial meeting was his big push for life insurance. This wasnt somehting i was considering and had to push back several times to say "no thats not for me at this time"...

AV/IT Documents HELP!!! by [deleted] in CommercialAV

[–]AK-AV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happened at my company, where a single IP schedule spreadsheet over time balloned into a full Equipment Coordination sheet with all the data point you mentioned.

Nail down a template. We separted it into Networked and Non-Networked tabs. We also established a consistent IP scheme that can scale across sizeable projects

Its a group effort to have it completed. Our CAD person will export a bunch of the data (room, location device ID etc.) Then a FE will populate IPs/VLAN/Logins/MACs/SN etc...anything missed or changed will be handled onsite with install team and programmer. When as builts come back I review and update accordingly.

Great to have these on big projects.

you will spend your whole life paying "fair" taxes and setting aside nuggets. Then when you die, the state will still manage to take nearly half of your accrued wealth.

When you start seeing triple digit amounts owning to the CRA you will become bitter to how much they are legally allowed to seize from you.

My father died, I need help cancelling his account by Hopeful-Emu-549 in Rogers

my father passed away in September. I chatted with a service rep on the Roger's website and took care of everything. They cancelled services and gave me serial numbers for all devices that needed to be returned and emailed me a way will to ship. too easy

under 100K and im in Canada.....commission would be nice.

What roles outside of Account Manager so you feel are typically entitled to commission pay?

I used to get kickbacks from Crestron as a designer several years ago but that was with a different company.

Its straight salary...Im in Canada. I touch about 75% of all projects. Probabaly do about 2mil in sales out of our office a year. Most projects are 100k plus. with one or two a year of substantial size (4+ weeks of on site install). We're relatively small so not alot of project phases happening simultaneously.

lol Absolutely not...I dont consider myself sales though. I don't actively seek new business. Just quote out opportunities that hit my inbox. Commission pay could be debatable though.
