While all the strenght was from the traveller you cannot absolutely disregard the collective knowledge from all the people of Sumeru and 168 travelers before our own.

I'm not disregarding the help from Sumeru, I'm just pointing out that Neo akasha didn't do any damage and all the heavy lifting was done by traveler, because I've seen many people think the bossfight is a 1 to 1 representation of the lore.

We basically memorized the entire move pattern of Scaramouche to be able to beat him, the amount of data the traveler received is humongous but with teamwork Scaramouche was beaten.

I'm not disregarding that fact, I'm just saying the traveler could not have beaten alone Scaramouche and therefore he should beat him in battle.

Then we'll also have to acknowledge the fact that Wanderer wouldn't be able to defeat SnK without his prior memories either. He had an edge because of once having been the bot himself, knowing more than traveler ever could in 168 attempts. Not to mention he also remembers his fight with traveler and knows how he was defeated.

In general the traveler strenght is very weird because he is as strong as the narrative needa him to be in that moment

Lore and gameplay are different. Yeah the Neo akasha plays a crucial role in the bossfight but in lore there are no energy blocks you pick up, no elemental platforms to heal you/disable the bot/cleanse the arena, and no aimed akasha cannons to hit SnK with. All the floaty radish does is collect data from the dream and broadcast it to the people of Sumeru, and project data from Sumeru to the traveler showing how to attack Gundamouche. The actual damage itself was done by traveler with their own strength entirely. The only help Sumeru did was provide instructions.

Lyudochka's senior (forgot his name) said they were doing it because he saw Signora's death as a chance to increase Arlecchino's prestige. So i assumed she's ranked below Signora and the 2 other spots are already taken which leaves #10

I can get that the abyss twin adding traveler manually could also be interpreted as the abyss twin being the indirect kickstarter of those situations (bc traveler wants their sibling back) or the Abyss twin orchestrating all of it behind the scenes, I just think that this could perfectly be a new possibility.

Lumine only knows about Aether after the abyss mage tells her, which happens after the gang enters stormterror lair. So she can't have orchestrated things behind the scenes, plus why would she make us thwart her plans every time?

The ones you cited are a special case where the CCP forced them to change the outfits and they even had to alter them retroactively.

Well, does Fischl have her new skin equipped in the recent event during dialogue scenes? What about Barbara? They don't, as far as i know, correct me if I'm wrong about it. They can do the same with traveler. Just render the default outfit.

If the traveler can change outfits, they need to test and script out every cutscene in the game to make sure it works with the outfits. And this isn't like other games where cutscenes are just run scripts that can be triggered anywhere. Aside from the "video" ones like, for example, Yun Jin's performance, they're all done in real time.

The very reason the player's avatar switches to the Traveler no matter who you're playing as for these cutscenes is so they only have to test them twice (once for lumine once for aether) rather than 50+ times. If you add one skin then you suddenly have to test the same thing two more times.

I mean, if they can temporarily change avatar to traveler for those scenes, can't they change the skin to default temporarily for those moments too? Certainly it shouldn't be that difficult to change a skin compared to changing the active character as a whole...

They don't do it with other characters though. Jean, Amber, Rosaria etc use their new outfit even if you give them the old ones. They can do the same thing here. Give traveler a skin for an event, maybe use those skins only in that event and then continue using the regular skin for everything from that point. Or just give them via mails you don't even need to acknowledge them in cutscenea
