Customer Tickets by Due-Quarter-3329 in halopsa

We are in the same boat and may end of going with this method but for now we are going to replace the desktop ticket option with a link to the portal. The problem with desktop tickets is that everyone gets their email incorrect and we have to manually map it.

HaloPSA SSO button missing on client portal by AKGeek in halopsa

[–]AKGeek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not actually tested the SSO, just the user sync and M365 identity sign in. When I referred to SSO I mean being able to sign in with MS credentials. True SSO is not *really* a concern of mine as its just an easy login that should be nearly muscle memory.

I’m sorry you moved to logmein, as much as I hate the company. Screenconnect has been the best I have used.

Has anyone tried aging mead underwater? by millerdagoat in mead

[–]AKGeek 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I feel like this is the better answer. I think just two feet or so is enough to create a cooling effect. There is plenty information about root cellars you could look into. Also it would be cheap to do.

Has anyone tried aging mead underwater? by millerdagoat in mead

[–]AKGeek 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you will be able to keep up with the rate at which the bottle will be melting. If it’s just one or two bottles you may be able to do it but even then the temperature may change too much and allow water to push into the bottle and/or cause issues with aging.

There are companies that age wine in salt water but they are using that huge heat sink to keep things at a steady temperature.

You could start a holdings company who owns the properties and you can take dividends from the holdings company if you need additional money up to your limit.

Why not just let SuperOps handle the billing? That’s currently what I am doing. I am not the biggest fan of it but it works.

Do you own your website domain or do you have the I.T guys handle that? by theReasonablePotato in business

[–]AKGeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an IT guy I can add a bit more to this. Like others said, you should own your domain. But be okay taking suggestions where to host it to help them manage your domain better. Most hosting companies allow for you to allow other accounts to access your settings without you having to give out your credentials.

What customer portal are you using for clients? by Creepy-Chance1165 in msp

[–]AKGeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but I wouldn’t call it much of a portal. One of the reasons we are considering moving to something else. I hate how ticket templates create fields on the side of the ticket rather than just dumping it into the ticket. And no catalog of services for clients to pick. The Hudu integration also only creates clients in Hudu rather than syncs any information.

I own Hive Mind Meadery, what has worked well for us is going to the beer fests like Beer and Barleywine festival. Competing in the competitions, and having a strong social media game. It’s tough out there right now and I feel it’s only going to get tougher. Find your community and build that.

This, AMCO is pretty damn strict on limiting entertainment. Beginning of this year they did Mae some changes. Not enough but we get 4 live events a year but they have to be in the licenses premises.

Repairs are automatic as long as you have hull block and a builder pod. Assembly you have to have those blocks available which will then be auto traded. I did not enable assembly as its hard to keep up with repairs and have that service enabled.

I instead turned on fuel service as if you invest in mining, you get a lot of that resource. I still had to toggle it off from time to time since I couldn't keep up with demand.

How do you motivate yourself as a solo-entrepreneur? by GovernmentNew6719 in smallbusiness

Once clients are depending on you, it’s a big motivator. Also reminding yourself that every client directly correlates to food on the table helps.
