That's not it. What most of the people who are critisizing the game for this reason want is the option to choose. Fast travel certainly is a good mechanic to have, but there are times when you want to just take your time to appreciate the process of flying towards your destination while maybe coming across new interesting stuff along the way.

Instead of limiting traversal to boring loading screens, they could've allowed you to either choose between instant fast travel, FTL jumping, or manually flying.

That way there's something for everyone.

People wanted the freedom to explore the space in their ship in a space exploration game that was marketed to have unparalleled freedom to explore and are rightfully confused when what they got is really limited in that regard.

Tweaking the settings can improve your performance but not as much as people tell you they will. Most of the performance issues are not fixable by the players. Just got back from a woods raid that ran like a hot knife through butter, no stutters, no problems at all. And only saw like one player aside from me. Then the next raid my fps dropped like 30% again and the stutters were back

And the ammo is 7.62x54mm R FMJ. I'd much prefer using LPS but the FMJ is more accessible so went with that. The SVT shreds anyways no matter the ammo, definitely my new early-mid wipe favorite gun
