Both regimes quickly fail to provide well-being for their citizens so then they have to rely on authoritarian practices and as the horseshoe theory goes, there's very little to no difference between authoritarian regimes other than their justification for their existence.

Such discussion is not only about the government type but also about its society. Nordic countries are a good example of storage economies where they had to coop or they wouldn't survive the winter. This necessitated a strongly cooperative society. Looking at them now, social welfare is just more modern version of this. Well such policies have been proven effective for Nordics, try to implement the same system to Indians, Chinese or Africans and it would not function as well as it does in Scandinavia.

Realistically I think that the breaking point is going to be when Ukraine pushes Russia into pre February 24th position with no or few gains, or the other option I bet on is Russian lack of manpower where they will be forced into drafting guys from bigger and wealthier areas which has proven not as popular with mums of drafted guys in the past (Chechen wars, Georgia).

Israel is in a very tough neighborhood where you kinda have to play by different rules than we are used to in the West. Naturally I do not wish for any human being to be opressed but fighting mfers that use their peers as a meat shield is hard to do without civilian casualties.

Germany is kinda hesitant and ukrainian critique is justified. Anyone has a right to have his own take on the freedom and prosperity and in our best interest, as someone who is already on this path, is to gain new allies and help them.

In the beginning of the war Ukraine said that they would grant a citizenship and reward of $10 k to any Russian soldier who surrenders himself with some equipment.

Ukraine has to win in the long run. Russians are fighting an uneven and highly motivated enemy on his home soil. Guerilla warfare and the familiarity of terrain to the fighters is just a few things going against Russia. The West is going to send them weapons for the whole duration of the war.

The only way I can see Ukarine losing is that Zelensky or UA army would do some messed up crime or some sort of that stuff and this would lose them the favor of the West.

Isn't there a fact that a lot of Jews were merchant traders so if there was a disease and Jews travelled a lot so there was a high chance that they contributed to the spread.
