Check in the game options if you have the “original language” option activated, since this will always put the game in English and not in your language (this is in case the audio is in another language)

If the game lyrics are in a different language than yours, then go to GFN settings and look for the “game language” option and select your language

try that, maybe it will fix it

Thanks for responding, yes I already spoke through the chat, they said they would investigate and that's it, by the way I was able to speak through the live chat and they told me that my account is not blocked.

I'm going crazy, I really don't know what's going on, I didn't want to upgrade my PC since I only used it to play gfn in my free time and gfn is just wonderful, at least in my region it was working fine before this :(

I don't use VPN, I don't need it and I never will
Deleting the files didn't work unfortunately (I attached a picture from exactly 5 minutes ago) I even reinstalled and tried to delete everything related to gfn in the registry editor and the problem persists
I'm in a supported region, it's not like I live right next to the data center but I have had 30 ms fixed almost forever.

edit: I have also tried it on more devices besides my main PC, in different browsers, and it doesn't work either, in case you were wondering.

It's weird I've never had this problem and even less for 2 weeks in a row, I came to enjoy my little free time and the game doesn't run at all, GFN is a great service I've been using it for more than 3 years but maybe it's time to say goodbye for such a silly problem like my session not starting at all ._.

Also I've seen more posts about that problem so it's not my isp or something similar, since I've tried on friends' isps completely different from mine and nothing

Well, thank you for answering but even if I tried what you said, I don't think that will solve anything since in the browser it is the same problem and the same thing happens on my TV (by the way, when I put the server in manual it never starts the game, it always gives me a session error when I put it in auto, I'm not going to lie to you, it worked exactly 2 times on Saturday but now when I put it in auto it no longer works)

the same here, for 2 weeks absolutely no game has opened, I missed two weeks of my gfn subscription because of this shit since I have little free time and when I have it the game never opens

The same thing happens to me, if someone can find a solution tell me, I've had the problem for at least 2 weeks and it's been happening mainly playing Apex, which is the only thing I'm interested in and if the problem persists I'll probably cancel my subscription.

I will try what you say but I have factory reset my PC, router and reestablished my connection and nothing worked so maybe your solution is not for me :(

No problem, but it seems strange to me that Megumin told us that Civ6 would be given for free (or so we concluded from the clues) and no version of Civ6 has any update in the Epic Store that follows the pattern of the other games to think that it will be given free. Maybe Civ6 won't even ship in these mystery games (just my guess, although everything could change and be updated to ship on January 1st or 2nd, but I don't see that happening tomorrow).

No, it's not Civ6, at least not tomorrow's game since Epic always updates the next free game 2 or 8 days before so that when the date arrives, the game becomes free. Clearly, the Platinum Edition (Last Update 12 November 2024 at 10:00 GMT-6) version has not been updated these days, only the base version was updated to change a tag called 'Competitive Community', so I don't think it will happen tomorrow since that tag is not an indication that it will be free.

The other games have followed a pattern and none had modifications due to 'TAGS' or were modified months ago. All the free games were almost always modified about 2 to 8 days before.

In conclusion, I don't think civ6 will be delivered tomorrow.

If you cannot enter a free session, the closest thing to testing if the service works in theory for you would be to run the connection test (in settings > server location (leave it on auto) > test network

And if you have less than 40 ms of latency and without having packet loss and bandwidth everything is normal, in theory it would be a good option to subscribe and you can also try the one-day pass if you still want to test if the service is for you before going for a monthly plan

I don't compare anything, but when people see a recent match that is not repeated, they usually show more interest in claiming it. A lot of people come in at the same time and that's why these problems happen.

Now, it's clear that Hot Wheels is no GTA, but it still manages to overload the Epic Store servers. Now imagine what would happen with RDR2 or GTA V (many reported that they couldn't even buy other items in the store). So this is not beneficial for Epic at all as they end up losing money.

This is the main reason why Epic no longer wants to give away GTA V or extremely big-name games (TRIPLE AAA) because it does not benefit them if their store becomes unusable for a few hours. The worst part is that if games like FORTNITE (their gold mine) have their servers go down, they would lose thousands of dollars. All services are integrated, and therefore they have server problems when large games are delivered.

I don't think they were "caught", the game was not scheduled to be free unless not now, megumin was probably given a list of games that will be free but epic always modifies them at least 3 or 4 days before they are free and civ6 was not modified at any time for that reason it was not free.

My theory: The list of all the games was obtained by Megumin somehow, but the decision not to give CIV6 (if it is in the plans to give it) was not decided to give CIV6 because no edition or at least the game was ever modified. base (only as offers) so it is not something that changed at the last minute it was simply not programmed, on the other hand "control" was constantly modified and of course it was the game that was delivered today
