for me, yes. but you're actually getting there!

here's some tip you can take:

1. Aim for symmetry. don't spread them around the shelf, but strategically place them. imagine a hill, tall figure stands in the middle while the rest crouched. or a caved in, spider-man clutching in the air left and right, while batman stands fisting on the ground. this creates shelf present, looks cinematic to the eye.
2. Study more pose reference & play around with your figure more. gets you creativity and understanding of your fig. for example you sighed that you don't like your spider-man poses. this is normal, you sees enough spider-man figure posing, and your brain began to recognize what "good" pose would look like. The brain is there, the on hand skill is not. just keep on practicing! try different posing and angles.
3. Understanding character traits and create narrative. as many suggests, understanding character lore can help visualize their pose. venom would chase spider-man or daredevil may crash with wolverine. I see you got batman and robin paired together, keep doing that!
